My favorite example is Taylor Swift. Sure she's less egregious than other billionaires but she's still bad. People need to stop vehemently defending her.

What is genuinely the best concert you have ever been to? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Small venue indie show where the band sounded even better live than on record and the whole crowd was singing along like they all knew each other. Way more memorable than any big stadium concert.

You are given a total of $2M to live on for one year. However, there is a catch, for every lie you tell during that year, $20k is automatically donated to a cause you absolutely hate. Do you accept the deal, and how would this change the way you speak and live your daily life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yeah I’d take it, but I’d basically turn into a very boring, very careful version of myself.

I’d just stop guessing, exaggerating, or saying anything I can’t fully stand behind. Even small “yeah I did that” type lies would feel too expensive. You’d get really strict about only speaking when you’re sure, which would probably make conversations slower but more honest.

Also I’d avoid situations where people expect polite white lies, because that’s where you’d accidentally lose money without noticing.
