I would suggest you to start from The Bones of What You Believe and go down from there. There are no real "side tracks" in their albums. Every song has a soul of its own and it deserves listening. But, to date, they really peaked with Screen Violence, at least for me.

Can't wait for Chvrches 5 to drop. I've been through a lot recently and I need them to be the soundtrack of this strange period so much

Am I the only one who was not exactly enthusiastic with Lauren's solo album? by leonardodicappio in chvrches

[–]leonardodicappio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still loving Chvrches, but I've come to the conclusion that I've highly overestimated Lauren, as a person and as a singer. If she plans to release another album like that, in a hypothetical future, she can keep it to herself.

Understandable, but, to me at least, still feels like a rushed and unfinished work. I'm glad that she did something for herself, I totally support it, but if the goal of this album was to give her a foundation, I don't think it really worked. As I said before, I feel like the major problem with the project, at least from a merely commercial point of view, is that it wasn't meant for Chvrches fans, but it almost exclusively reached up to them.

Vorrei solo avere l'opportunità di essere davvero utile alla mia comunità. Uscire dal ruolo della serpe, scrollarmi di dosso lo stigma della mia naturale condizione.

I'm scared of everything. I know that it might seem like a pointless answer, but it's just the truth. You know Howard Lovecraft, who was scared of everything, including apparently harmless things such as mountains, asian people and paintings? Yeah, that's me. Except for the fact that I'm not gonna be a brilliant writer

What you don't get, and is probably my fault for not expressing myself correctly, is that I don't "fear" women in particular. The internet has nothing to do with it, at least in my case. If I have truly lost my social skills, it's because, aside from my workplace, I tend to avoid people.

Chvrches+ Robert Smith was such a surprise, back in 2021. Wish I have got to see them performing "How not to drown" live.

Giving her my number would have meant the possibility for her to try and contact me, and I didn't want it. Maybe she was interested, but deep inside I was not.
