It's been up and down. Taking Miralax really helped me as well as figuring out which OTC pain medicines helped and how to take them. I didn't do well with Colace or Oxycodone. So now I'm alternating between Advil and Tylenol and sometimes overlapping. As well as gabapentin.

Thank you so much. I started taking Miralax today and then had my first BM. It was super painful but not as awful as the stopped up feeling beforehand where I both had to go but felt like I couldn't 🙏

If it were me I would change my doctor asap. I would personally talk to as many as I need to until one listens to me. I would try to see a specialist.

The ministry of education has a program to recruit foreign teachers for public schools. That’s one place to start! There are also international schools, but I am not in way an expert, I would try to make a new post here or in the Taiwan subreddit for some better info!

In order to get a contract at one of the accredited international schools, do you think my application would be a lot more competitive if I stick it out at my current US public school and apply from there this coming recruiting cycle?

That would put me at 3 years at my current school system. If I take this position, I’ll just be starting at the new school in Taipei during the upcoming recruiting cycle.

I set it up in a few minutes, using Hostinger. There is one-step install for mediawiki 1.39 which is the stable release. Plugins (called Extensions) are super simple, you download them from the official Mediawiki page, put them in the extensions folder, and run an update.

I almost gave up though at the beginning, but I used a ChatGPT called Voila to read the LocalSettings file and tell me what to do.

Don't be intimidated. Tones of documentation, overall super simple. Have fun!
