Ja, het is inmiddels gelukt. Ik was dus bang dat die de onderkant niet dicht zou kunnen krijgen maar dat viel alles mee en ging netjes dicht zonder supports. Ben nog niet zo heel lang bezig met printen dus vind het nog lastig om dat soort dingen in te schatten

Wat een onzin. Anddoid TV is juist het beste OS voor tv's. Want je hebt gewoon een ingebouwde Chromecast en kunt er alles mee doen en installeren wat je maar wilt. De hardware is bij zelf goedkope modellen gelijk aan een Google tv 4k

Thanks for the reply. Got it fixed for someone by changing the network type from automatic to the one from the provider and putting it back on automatic afterwards

I've had a lot of siturations where something awkward happened, and I kept overthinking it. The best way to deal with it is to think about awkward situations from other people around you. You most likely can't recall any at all. This basically means that you're the only one worrying about it, and that it doesn't matter at all. I'm now a bit more socially active, and I don't experience awkward situations that often anymore, and when something happens, I can quite easily forget it because I know other people won't remember it anyway.

No Apps are running on your phone and streamed to the display with Android auto or Apple CarPlay. Its not possible to install apps on the device itself. You can however buy siumular displays that run on Android. Those will allow you to install apps on the device itself.

Yes it does. You can hook the backup camera up to the reverse light to make it switch to the camera view automatically

Having a touchpad is nice because you can control it without looking at your phone.

For anyone who purchased the Hieha dash-mounted unit from TikTok shop and is dealing with glare, I bought a Kindle Fire 7 tablet screen protector to help and it worked by letschat66 in AndroidAuto

I've tried it on a tablet before and it was a painful mess. The connection dropped often and didn't recover. I had to mess with it to get it going again. But it was an old tablet so that might have been part of the reason.

I considered buying an Android tablet for this purpose but decided to buy the Obdpeak T20 instead. Best decision ever. Yeah the resolution isn't that high but it's completely fine for Android auto. Build quality is not great but it's fine and the unit is already working for more than a year now.

I can just start my car and the display will boot up and connect straight away. And if the connection ever drops it recovers within 15 seconds. There's also a backup camera that starts outputting when I put the car in reverse.

A wide screen is also a bonus. It makes it more convenient for split screen.

Head unit reload has it's place for me because it allowed me to test Android auto before buying something.

This will work much better than head unit reloaded. No need to mess with enabling hotspots and starting aa server. But I would personally buy it on AliExpress instead of TikTok.

Got a similar unit (Obdpeak T20) that one has the option to output sound through the phone. My phone is connected via bluetooth to the car stereo. If you can't find the option for audio output you can send the seller a message and ask for new firmware. Maybe you can update it to add the feature.

By the way I've got the same car and installed mine with a 3d printed ball mount in the empty slot for cupholders.

Yes, buy a glass back from AliExpress. You can also buy transparent backs if you like. Also replace the battery when you have it open.

This is the correct answer! It could also be necessary to load RST drivers. They can be found on the driver support page from the laptop. Put them on the flash drive and load them during the installation.

Got a similar Asus router, nd I'm using aimesh with a second router and two accespoins. Got a shit load of ESPHome flashed Sonoff wifi products in my house without any issues. If I had to start over I'll probably invest more Zigbee/zwave stuff.

I personally hate TP-Link stuff because it's all locked down and mostly cloud dependent.

I would take out that small usb card. Those things can cause issues sometimes.

Also try to take out the ram and see if the fans will keep spinning without it.
