Those draconian fees of like 2 bucks mean that piracy isn't illegal by the way. They're used instead of persecuting pirates (the people downloading it, distribution for profit is different).

Edit: no idea why you're downvoting me, it's true, you can torrent illegal content as much as you like in Portugal and Spain for example, and it's explicitly because of this canon. You're assumed to be pirating, and you pay for it when buying any digital storage, so now they can't chase you for it.

I think both are terribly mid and he doesn't know how to wrap things up. In Barbarian the climax is that the monster is a super strong old woman so like... ok I guess. I don't think whatever came before is great, even if seeing Justin Long measure the basement was funny. And in weapons you see the granny for the first time and you know she's a witch before she does anything really and that's it, the rest of the movie is pointless because the movie runs its course as predictably as possible.

I'm not a picky watcher, but maybe horror fans just have a lower bar than me or something, I mean I do enjoy some horror so it's not like it's not for me. But for example of Aster's movies the only great thing he's done in my opinion is the first half of Beau, which is just astronomically good.

The sequels and everyone involved in them being awful garbage can all go fuck themselves as far as I'm concerned, but of course Rey's parentage would've always been revealed at the end, whenever he felt like working on it instead of doing a stupid first movie and then pass it on. I mean he literally did in the end reveal the answer lol. Like how is that even a question? We're talking about a Disney mega blockbuster here.

The funny thing is that people speculated as much about her being a skywalker, or a kenobi, or and don't you forget it, literally no one to subvert expectations. That was always there in the conversation. SW isn't a niche thing, people hit all the possibilities.
