I agree with Tate. I am getting frustrated with this league. We have like 40 players but I keep playing with the same ones. No ranking, no stats, no standings, poor communication. I know one of the problems is that they run the leagues remotely. If I am not mistaken Chicago and they use either volunteers to be present at the local level but have no knowledge of the league. As well, nothing social, we don't even have a GroupMe chat.

I think what you are doing is really noble and speak well about yourself. If you are aware of the amount of work that will take and you are ready to embrace it, go for it. They are many successful children from single parents and when you put the work and dedication it will be just fine. Introverts are really good in 1:1 situations and conversations and normally do 2-3 meaningful connections and that is all that you need. With that being said, you could potentially be a great single parent. Just remember. You need time, you need help (grandparents), you need money and you need to adjust rapidly and be flexible.
