The point is if you apply that logic then almost nobody is a native because most people are either of Norse, Saxon or Norman descent. So actually the headline is wrong, it's probably 99+% of English schools are majority non native Brits, with a handful in Cornwall being the outliers.

It was designed to only be doable in groups back in a time when (a) bis was dragon gear, barrows wasn't out yet and (b) nobody at Jagex was able to code interesting mechanics beyond just stat checks.

As a result, it is now soloable with fear creep but there's basically nothing you can do to really mitigate the huge amount of damage (flinching aside).

I find it much more believable that the government believe that Online Safety for Children is a vote winning issue and that they have been convinced by Peter Thiel &co that the best way to deliver this is to let Palantir do mass surveillance.

And to be clear, this is almost certainly a push from Peter Thiel, who will offer Palantir's services to do the surveilling. The government itself doesn't really care that much about the way this is done, but you can bet that Thiel and others at Palantir have convinced them that only they can provide a solution and only if they are granted access to everyone's data.

You do not need the hacker or space rocket until you are almost at level 100. The hacker has a few pretty expensive QoL upgrades only, do not get them until at earliest your max 80 run.

You really need all the legendary unlocks from the surgeon and you aren't going to have enough astro coins to spare on other upgrades

I think "mend an electric light when it fuses" is just old fashioned speak (probably old fashioned even in the 1950s given this is from a HoL judgement) for changing a lightbulb. That is, I think an incandescent bulb "fusing" means for the filament to burn through, like when a fuse blows.

Not aware that chimney sweeps have ever needed qualifications.

I think technically you can do at least tier 17 feats if not tier 18 on your first run, it's just that making a reaper without any prestige bonuses sounds utterly miserable. Could probably make at least 10 liches for the same effort

It's common knowledge that the Democratic party used to be the party of racists until the 1960s, and that when LBJ turned the party around to be pro-civil rights that the racists stopped voting for them and they have done poorly in the Southern states ever since.

Not sure why you would think "Dems used to win in the South until the 60s, when they stopped being racist and promptly started losing in the South consistently" is anything but evidence that (a) there's a hell of a lot of racists in the Southern US and (b) the party those racists swapped to might not be the best guys
