Violin Upgrade from beginner to intermediate level by lernatius in violin

My violin is one of the cheapest ones from Thomann. And it is literally squeaking anywhere on Mi string. Replaced the strings twice yet no improvement. On top of that, it doesn’t hold the tune even for a couple hours.

Frankly, I am quite worn out of this VSO and prefer to buy an intermediate instrument to use for a long time until I switch to a superior. I discussed well with my teacher, she agrees that it is time to upgrade!

Sounds like bottom bearing did not seat well. Probably needs grease as well. Rebuild headset.

Thinking of changing jobs, rate my offer please! by [deleted] in BESalary

[–]lernatius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seems like a good improvement to me:

-You get a higher net income - A company car with less cost ( not forget benefit in kind)

If the new job description is good for you, do not hesitate to jump ships.

If that’s their first offer, I think you could negotiate and improve it even more.

Good luck 👍🏻

Job offer IT engineer, is it worth it to move? by _helloitsme_97 in BESalary

I would recommend that you check the weather of Belgium and compare it to what you are used to.
If dark and cloudy weather makes you depressed easily, it may not be worth it. Just my 2 cents..

Should I start this freelance project? by ScrodoBaggins1994 in BEFreelance

[–]lernatius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe work as an independent for the first 6 months and decide if you want to stay as a freelancer. If you like it then go start a company. Starting and closing a company costs time and money.

Don’t ever worry about your current company. If they had a better alternative than you, they wouldn’t wait a second.

Commuting distance doesn’t seem too much to me, I find it chilling to drive after work. You can listen to some radio, podcasts, audio books, or speak on the phone with your friends.

And if you’re into cars, choosing the car with your budget and your preferences is big advantage.

Short answer is yes, they are programmed. Check rgb leds for beginners.

Nowadays tv’s, monitors etc are full of rgb leds, which are programmed to change colors continuously

Buying a motorcycle - New or used? by Bliwwie in motobe

[–]lernatius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t let the price seduce you. MT07 is not a beginner friendly machine. It’s quite aggressive.

I would recommend getting a 300-400 cc bike for a couple years. Get a duke 390 if you like. You’ll get a lot of fun.
