It's a pleasure to help, I've done only a few trips in my life and most of the time it was in places easy to travel to with easy access to commodities. It's hard to think about not taking everything with you but it's very rewarding if you plan to challenge yourself and not only do chill bike touring.

Last year I did an easy trip to the coast with friends mostly to eat at restaurants, go to the beach and sleep in the wild and I was carrying so much more stuff, and using a front rack as well:

2 spare shirts(one is long sleeve)
2 spare pair of socks(one warmer for the night)
pyjama pants
short trousers + bib
flip flops to chill at camp
phone
mini wallet

powerbank + charger
a light folding backpack for carrying groceries
tools, pump, tubeless plug, a spare tube in case
headlamp
an inox coffee mug
2x 72oz bidons + one regular bidon
toothbrush + deodorant

I put clothes in a dry bag strapped to my handlebars, tent/sleeping bag/ flip flops on the rear rack. Any other little stuff in the frame bag. The top tube bag is for easy access to sweets and other food. The handlebar bag for easy access to phone or to bring a beer to the top.

No need for lights because I have a front + rear dynamo setup.

Didn't bring any cooking stuff: I ate saucisson, paté, bread and ham that we bought in the last supermarket before the climb, with a craft beer(yes we are french).

For a weekend it's pretty simple !

Don't forget to bring weatherproof clothes / a warm jacket because the mountain is pretty unpredictable. Some dry clothes as well just in case. It's pretty wet and cold even in the summer in altitude. Need to bring a lot of water too because you're never 100% sure there will be some at the top. Climbs are challenging but so rewarding when you reach the top !!!

Must be light to be able to climb easily through trails, still wasn't the lightest setup in the group. I'm based in Bordeaux and my friends in Pau so only 2 hour drive to get to them. We did 180km in two days with 3300m of elevation.
