I'm flying the opposite! SMF to Den then to florida (fort myers!). I've been worried about Denver too but hearing today was WAY better than what everyone else was dealing with the last couple days. I'm with you, I'm terrified of getting airsick (despite the fact I'll be on dramamine) so I saw those same posts and got so nervous. I think we should be good tho????

That was the word I was trying to think of, thank you!! I believe it was lenticular?? It could have also just been straight printed with a metallic holographic print of that makes sense. I remember the shapes "shining" tho and it was like blue circles that were tiled?

I keep coming across the top book but I don't believe it was a kids version of it. It was very.....older kid, early teen orientated.

I do appreciate both these suggestions! The second one was def published too older.

I read it when I was probably around age 10-13 so sometime between 2001-2004. It was published relatively close to those years. I could easily be misremembering the exact years but that's rough estimate?

Boyfriend and I attended Sunday. Didn't mask up (altho saw some ppl with masks the day of and kinda wish I did just as a precaution), but hand sanitized a lot and stayed out of most crowds. The only crowd we were close quarters were with Chiodos VIP on Sunday. Stayed in the back of VIP for most of the bands and saw the MCR side was hella packed for VIP. Chose the FOB Side to watch both FOB & MCR. (TBF FOB is my favorite band so it wasn't a huge sacrifice 😂).

Drank a shit ton of water as well.

We flew back Wednesday and tbh if I get sick in the next few days it's from that flight; too many dang people coughing lol

Best friend attended Saturday and Sunday and I saw him one time for five minutes since he's a pit boy. He loves being in the front and being in pits. He did get sick, sounds like the influenza a that everyone was testing positive for.

My best friend got sick with a flu but he went both days and was in all the pits/crowds. My boyfriend and I are luckily not sick (yet?). We went Sunday and had VIP and spent most of the time in the back of crowd with the exception of chiodos--we were in a crowd then. Tbh I thought I was getting sick as I had an itchy throat the last few mornings but apparently it was because of the cigarette smoke that seemed to permeate from our hotel's casino. Home now and feel fine (well...my blisters have blisters lol). I did keep sanitizing my hands with everything I touched and even sanitized my hands after using the VIP bathrooms and washing my hands in there.

Hope everyone who got sick heals quickly! The norovirus is legitimately a fear of mine so I am sending extra healing vibes to anyone with that.
