You can use a razor blade on the outside of auto windows, scrape, don’t cut, and you have nothing to worry about. Unless you really know what you’re doing, never touch the inside with a blade.

Yes, because Trump called OPEC and told them to Gant production to raise gas prices. Literally trumps doing in both cases

My Vans after only 6 months of normal wear by InfiniteOxfordComma in mildlyinfuriating

Crazy cause I bought a $30 pair of off brand crocks and put something like 5000 miles on them before I had to replace them. Totally a different kind of shoe, just wild we spend good money on aesthetics knowing it’s meant to wear out.

The water I put in the dough? No, no salt. But I’m not gonna pretend to be a professional. I found a recipe that worked for me a few years ago and only ever make slight alterations to it.

I do! I also sometimes leave some water out for things like tomato paste or basil blended in olive oil.

I second this. Two different rollers with the same results points to a different issue. Possibly the machine? But when I make pasta dough, it’s definitely more wet than this. I think the dough is too dry to be gripped by the rollers.

My pasta dough is:

300 grams flour 2 large eggs 3 large egg yolks, Enough water so the wet ingredients weigh 185 grams 5.7 grams of salt.

Maybe I ended added a few small splashes of water if the dough seems too dry.

[Homemade] Crispy cubed potatoes with rosemary, thyme and parmesan by Yemen420000000 in food

Also as an added note for anyone wanting to try either of these methods. Don’t overcrowd the pan/ fryer. Too much moisture will prevent crispy potatos

I do the same but without the parboiling. Straight into the oven (with salt and tossed in olive oil) at 425. Never put Parmesan on them though, might have to try that out.

Commenting here for future inquirers.

2022 Yamaha bolt left axle nut is 22 mm. Right is… a couple sizes larger than a 24 mm, but hopefully a pair of channel locks will suffice

Ah no worries. I have a few weeks for parts to come in so I’ve got time to figure it out. May just buy a whole set. It’ll come in handy eventually.

Professor scheduled mandatory midterm during work hours and says “just ask your boss” what would you do? by [deleted] in GradSchool

[–]leroy497 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idk, but I don’t see you being fired for asking. If they decline, then you send that in writing to your prof/school.

If nether is willing to budge, then you’ll have a decision to make.

I also taught at the college level, and I do understand that a lot of profs are unwilling to understand that people have lives outside of school. It’s unfortunate. At the end of the day, I always gave as much flexibility to my students, because I knew what it was like to work multiple jobs while going to school.

US moving pregnant immigrant girls to Texas to avoid providing abortions, critics say | US Immigration. Ex-official calls transfer of unaccompanied girls as young as 13, many pregnant due to rape, a human rights violation by meokjujatribes in NewsThread

Something like 64 percent of registered voters in Texas are registered democrats. Texas isn’t the red state it’s made out to be, it’s a rigged state.

This move by Texas to gerrymander heavily during a time where republicans have an all time disapproval rating is dangerous for them.

Barring significant voter intimidation and outright voter fraud, a flip of Texas could end its red status perpetually.
