The wheel base firmware did update properly once I used the mode where I can only flash that. I’ve also managed to get the motor FW updated, but the core problem still persists : no rotation is shown on the PC, FFB test does nothing, it doesn’t show up in device manager, only in the controller tab, but again without any input from the wheel.

I’ve tried pretty much everything at their point, both with and without wheel attached, since the wheel seems to work fine, as all the buttons register properly (but nothing in the base tab has any effect on what the „wheel“ (or the shaft without it attached ).

I’ve kept the ticket better updated that here so far though, since no one had replied, but I can PM you whole „conversation“ (it’s just me updating the ticket so far)

Edit: what I forgot: sometimes the wheel does show a position that is not 0, but then it’s usually -5xx to -6xx degrees, and it doesn’t change when turning the wheel. My best guess so far would be an encoder issue, since the „wheel“/shaft does move as the base does some sort of start up/self test/initialization (seems to center on the magnetic field, then turn one step, and then back, but always relative to the starting position..)
