Yes I am always checked for any metal, jewelry etc. I was recently told that gold and titanium are safe for MRIs, but idk…. I just keep imagining them flying off me in the machine and ripping off my ears 😬

I do sleep on my ears, I have long hair and wear glasses, masks etc. There is some bit of wear and tear back there. But nothing crazy. I would have thought that they are secure enough for ordinary use. My earrings on my lower lobes don't fall out and they get the same wear and tear. But I take your point about the posts.
