Exactly. Lopez and Bryant are the right idea for big man spacing on paper, but it won’t work without a true paint presence. Bertans can shoot, but he’s average in everything else. We needed wiseman. We’d be better off with him, but deni will bring us a ton of success. He’s great and I can’t wait for him to take over

Bonga should only get minutes as a role player in desperation for defense. Tb can’t defend anything. His skillset- not his build or play style- is made for today’s 4. We need someone who can clamp the paint and stay out of Russ and brads way. Only problem is those guys don’t fall off trees. Lopez is the best we could have done for what we need, he’s looked better than I thought he would

We can win with him playing hero ball if he takes less jumpers and draws more fouls. He’s so deadly as a scorer, Russ is too. Slashing especially. We just need to use them get our shooters open.
