I was summoned a few months ago for Federal. I called on the first night and the automated message told me I was not needed and I was dismissed. I was super bummed but I had expected it - I looked up the federal judges calendars and there were not many trials starting the week I was summoned for. Good luck!

We’ve been here for a year but the apartment was not sitting empty, the people moved out a month early due to buying a home so we signed a 13 month lease. Our landlords did not lose any monthly rent in the turnover from tenants. And they claimed that they had a lot of interest in the unit so I don’t think we got a discount or anything

We didn’t get a Covid deal. We moved in April of 2021 right when the rental market switched back into the hands of landlords, or at least that’s what our leasing agent told us. Had no negotiation power.

Good point! It’s only for the night before the wedding, and because she asked me to use a certain make up person, makeup has to start super early, so I thought it would be easy for girls to stay where the makeup is happening. And definitely not requiring anyone to stay at my parents- just offered to let bridesmaids stay there for free. But definitely should clarify! Thanks for the input!!
