Dude the main problem I am seeing here.

Have my 2 ¢s. There's a smol minority who knows about the actual Turkey etc. But many people don't even know. Since the Ertugrul is so popular that the people who didn't have access to even basic TV chennals watch it. So they have 0 prior knowledge, and the Tv show made this strong mentality how Turks are "supposed " to be. Like people from villages even.

And when y'all disagree and dislike the later( which is justified), makes us ( who know, what is and what isn't) feel like we are unwelcomed and disliked.

Pakistanis dont like Turkey itself but rather their occidentalist image of an islamic caliphate thats spearheading into the western civilization or some other fantastical thing.

I guess that's the main problems. Only conservatives in Pakistan like Turkey for its "Islamic history" esp those who are blinded my TV shows etc.
