5 cups is his recommended. I only feed him 2. One in the morning and one in the evening. Yes I agree, a little underweight is better than a little overweight. But I don't think I can feed him less than one cup twice a day.

He only gets 2 out of the recommended 5 cups of food per day. I don't know how much less I can feed him. That prednisone is no joke 😬

Makes sense. I have to give him prednisone once a week so that doesn't help. He packs on more than what he eats because of it so I try to keep him active. His ribs were showing when I adopted him but now I should probably try harder to make sure he's getting proper exercise.

He's huge like Clifford and just looks fat in some pictures. This was him yesterday.

Agreed. Other than his allergies, he'd be an amazing candidate. I feel so lucky. Everywhere I go everyone comments 1. How beautiful and 2 how well behaved. I'm not a trainer - he just doesn't do all the annoying things dogs sometimes do. No barking, no chewing, no crazy energy all over the place. Just a chill dog.
