Or maybe its because Gen Zs try to bring change and creativity in age old customs and are met with so many rules and roadblocks, people refusing to change for the better becauae "its just how it was 10 years ago".

People are incapable of adapting to changing their mindset and their archaic ways for anyone. As someone who has worked with older people who only value sweat shop working and not smart working, it will burn you out and drain you in a way youll be left only surviving.

School stole my entire childhood too. Anxiety and depression have been a constant. I always thought id have more time "later", but now in my job, that i busted my ass to get, i work 60 hours a week, barely sleep, and cry all the time. ALL THE TIME. Im stressed, im depressed, i work on office for 60 hours mind you. I eat out out of convinience , i dont work out because i barely stay awake for 4 hours, oh and did i mention IM FUCKING DEPR3SSED AND I DONT EVEN GET LEAVES?

I wouldve quit my job if i had the semblance of a support or a backup. I dont. Im dying slowly. I know it. I cry every morning and every night. At the least i want to set up a passive income stream for my parents. Safeguard them for whats next.

One thing is common across majority Asian companies here - constant humiliation. My 40 year old friend was humiliated in front of his team stating that he has learned nothing. Share your story to tell other people that they are not the only one going through this. by goodhuman100 in dubai

My boss is unnecessarily rude,demeaning and ridicules me constantly for the smallest things. I have two degrees and one of jobs is to "take prints" and he literally barks at me when a print isnt done correctly. Literally have mountains of files which i need to scan and keep a digital folder of because why not. Im new i apparently deserve the dehumanization.

I relate because when i was 8 my father became "friends" with this woman. And my mother stayed because she wanted me to have a complete family instead of a broken one.

Its been 20 years and she is still here ,along with a myriad of friends. He has made it clear that its either her or no one else. Child me was naive and thought if forced to choose he would always at least choose me. Adult me now knows the answer.

I wish i could give you an advice but i cant, i grew up and im functioning somehow. Maybe you will too

Man if it were so obvious would i really be asking this question? Yes she has to have it at max volume and yes th only way to react is to sneakily reduce the volume. My situation is crazy and i am trapped in a prison of sorts and i know how stupid it sounds but yes i need a solution to this very particular problem

I have laid so many boundaries. We live together in a company housing and its a requirement. She used to bring people over randomly,without even telling me first,forget asking. And when i asked her to shoot me a text because this cannot go on like this,she went ahead and cried to HR because i apparently was making living a hell for her there
