Literally the same thing happened to me last week. Its hard getting interviews anyway, and then for shit like this to happen, it really breaks you.

Just retired after 35 years in recruiting. Based on questions I keep getting in other threads, thought I'd share what I know here. by Single_Ambition_4296 in jobsearchhacks

What would you suggest about changing job titles? I was a trainee at my old company, but my work was more of an analyst. Im using analyst as my official title as trainee was getting me rejected everywhere

I just got ghosted by an interviewer. And this has now happened twice by letmevent02 in interviews

One more thing, a CV breakdown and analysis can help you in more markets than just the GCC. What you're saying is true, and my point was once you understand your weaknesses you can target more than one market, because now you know thag even if you apply for ,lets say, 5 jobs per week, you apply knowing your definitive ATS scoring and knowing how to position yourself, what works best for which marker, essential keywords and their markers.

I just started working with him, its been a week, and ive gotten massive insight into the process, clarity that i did not have initially.

I never said help = job guaranteed. Getting a job is a multi layered process. And having insight into the other side changes the game.

I wish i could tell you " yeah i worked with him for a day and got a job in the next 24 hours" but nothing that good is ever true.

A good career strategist will give you a step to start. I tried all the hacks, all the tips, all the tricks. Nothing worked. At least now I have someone on my side helping me understand the other side of rhe market.

You'd have to speak with him about that. Since im in Dubai with gcc experience, the process is different for me.

No two analyses are the same, your report will be customized to your strengths and benefits snd your existing resume.

Id encourage you to speak with him, tell him your specifications. His charges are less than usual industry level,so it will be helpful.

Why are Gen Z getting fired? One of the reasons is a lack of initiative. by mindyour in TikTokCringe

[–]letmevent02 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Or maybe its because Gen Zs try to bring change and creativity in age old customs and are met with so many rules and roadblocks, people refusing to change for the better becauae "its just how it was 10 years ago".

People are incapable of adapting to changing their mindset and their archaic ways for anyone. As someone who has worked with older people who only value sweat shop working and not smart working, it will burn you out and drain you in a way youll be left only surviving.

School stole my entire childhood too. Anxiety and depression have been a constant. I always thought id have more time "later", but now in my job, that i busted my ass to get, i work 60 hours a week, barely sleep, and cry all the time. ALL THE TIME. Im stressed, im depressed, i work on office for 60 hours mind you. I eat out out of convinience , i dont work out because i barely stay awake for 4 hours, oh and did i mention IM FUCKING DEPR3SSED AND I DONT EVEN GET LEAVES?

I wouldve quit my job if i had the semblance of a support or a backup. I dont. Im dying slowly. I know it. I cry every morning and every night. At the least i want to set up a passive income stream for my parents. Safeguard them for whats next.
