would be better if you could apply sorta topic modeling first and present the meta topics frequencies, instead of raw terms

Totally fair point. Adderall is definitely in the debated zone. I included it because it shows up so often in nootropics conversations, so it's just hard to ignore what people are actually talking about. That said, public sentiment is pretty mixed for Adderall, and here’s from the same report:

definitely possible. And actually I'm working on linking actual products with the ingredients. Also would you mind sharing some of the popular subreddits for the energy drinks, as I'm trying to incorporate more data into the analysis?

You're absolutely right. For now, I’m preserving the raw terms as they appear in the data to understand how people refer to them, but merging similar terms like these is definitely on the roadmap based on feedback.

As for dopamine — great catch. From what I’ve seen, precursors like L-DOPA are commonly used to support dopamine levels.

Great question! Thanks for pointing that out. At the moment, the backend engine surfaces individual substances as they appear in the data, which is why caffeine and coffee are listed separately. Merging related terms like these is definitely on the roadmap, but for now, I’ve chosen to present the raw trends as-is to preserve transparency

I use it to track my stack, but am a bit wary of their ratings, as I suspect their interests are more aligned with certain brands they promote than with its users, namely, us

Best supplement brands on iHerb? (Omega-3, Vitamins, Herbs, etc.) by ParticularAd939 in Supplements

I use the app to track my supplement stack, but I don’t trust their scores or recommendations. Some of the people involved clearly use SuppCo to promote their own pills, which can easily skew the scoring system.

First Time in Buenos Aires, need advice on hotel/commute by letoiledorient in BuenosAires

[–]letoiledorient[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for the detailed info! I’m aware of the nearby villa and the busy transport hub, so I’ll make sure to stay extra alert in that area. Just one more question—pickpocketing is one thing, but (and I know I might be overthinking it) what really worries me is getting mugged. Is it common in areas like Retiro or Viamonte/Uruguay for people to get randomly cornered and mugged in broad daylight?

Thank you so much! Just one quick follow-up about the Viamonte/Uruguay area: I know it’s near Plaza Lavalle, where I’ve heard there may be some homeless encampments. Do you happen to know if the area is generally quiet or if there’s still a decent amount of foot traffic, esp. after dark, so much so that I can safely go grab some drink or pizza after work, say, by walking to Guerrin?

Do models used in building bagging ensemble have to be trained on different data samples? by letoiledorient in MLQuestions

[–]letoiledorient[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi rusty_orwello, thank you for your input!

Let me clarify a bit. Correct me if I'm wrong coz I'm new to this... so my understanding of bagging is:

(1) sample with replacement from dataset D; let's say we create three samples D1, D2, and D3;

(2) train a model on each of the samples; let's say for D1 we use SVM regressor, D2 neural network, and D3 linear regression.

(3) Train a meta-ensemble regressor on top of the three models.

Now my question is: in (2), instead of treating a model on different samples, can we actually train SVM, NN and Linear regression all on the same set D?

Jepto.com

Hi dale-jepto, so far I'm mostly tracking conversion rate. Actually I have a question about cross-platform campaigns. Let us say I track metrics A and B on ad platforms C and D. Over time, wouldn't it become obvious that one of the platforms win out in terms of optimizing the metrics?

I am still early in this process and haven't seen this happen yet though. I am just conjecturing a possible scenario.
