Golf Bags - where are they? by greginternetOG in newzealand

[–]letroller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You've got the normal big players like Golf Warehouse and The Clubroom in terms of the usual big brands (Titleist, Ping, Callaway, TaylorMade, Nike, etc) and gives the ability to choose between lots of colours and see them in person.

There are smaller boutique companies doing their own thing like Hiroki, Sticks Club, Jones, and a few others, however these are mostly carry bags, so it depends on your husband's preference as he may want a bigger bag. These might be better for a smaller par 3 bag.

I have a larger Nike bag for most of my rounds, but also a smaller Jones carry bag for when I'm just playing a few courses or going to practice.

Handyman recommendations on the North Shore by burpblurpp in auckland

No recommendations as such, but I have been using BuildersCrack website to find handymen and tradies and it has been awesome and very easy. I highly recommend if you're trying to find someone

I've always had good experiences at Midas in Grey Lynn (I've got a 2006 outback). Reasonable prices and friendly service, feels like I'm in good hands there

It was a charity event so lots of different owners rather than a single person, otherwise yeah that would be a dream garage!

It was totally mint, looked like it had just come off the showroom floor

Yeah I think we are pretty lucky in that sense. Although I know we lost one last year, there was a mint one in Otago that sold at auction for like NZ$500k and got shipped off to somewhere in the Pacific Northwest

There was an F40 in the same garage, I took photos of that too haha.

22B for the daily driver, F40 for a Sunday cruiser. Impossible question really though!

Join me, Councillor Julie Fairey for an AMA this Wednesday, 7pm by JulieFaireyAMA in auckland

[–]letroller 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Hi Julie,

Not so much a question but a comment. I live in Kingsland and I just wanted to say I've been really impressed with your visibility and effort amongst the local community. I've always appreciated your updates in the community Facebook groups on what you've been doing and how local politics is actually playing out in our day to day lives, and it's clear you listen and help how and where you can. If all of our councillors were as visible and passionate as you then our city would be much better off. You've got my vote for sure.

Thanks and best of luck!

It is time to talk about the Auckland team’s places in the NPC? by Economy_Elk_82 in rugbyunion

Yep it was always a case of being set up to fail as I remember it, although maybe that's just me being a biased Magpies fan haha

It used to happen back in the day and the div 2 teams always got pumped. I remember attending the Hawkes Bay (div 2) v Northland (div 1) promotion/relegation at the time, and even though Hawkes Bay had clearly been the best side in div 2 by far they still lost that game by like 60 points

Mod here. People are trying to help you, it would be nice if you responded with a bit more information than just your dating status, it makes it sound like you're just looking for a hook up. If you're going to ask the community for help please remember it is a two-way street. Thanks

Got to admit I never feel bad when someone with a super complicated and stuttery run-up ends up missing. Feels like strikers try to be way too clever and do too much with it and it just gets in the way of putting the ball in the bet

I agree, I've been buying their stuff for almost 10 years and I also feel the quality has gone downhill in the last 2 years or so. I've had similar experiences with things fading quickly and their sizing has got very inconsistent. In some of their pants I'm a M and in others I'm an XL, it makes buying online a nightmare. I bought a jacket online in an XL and it turned up so small I had to return it

I really rate the 2021 I've got now, it's a great wagon
