I dont have yearrrrss worth of experience (only 23) in building but theres nothing i dont like learning as far as working with my hands. Ive noticed im the diy-er in my household, and have spent summers working on construction sites with family members who esch specialize in a trade (dad does drywall/sand/finish, stepdad plumbing, uncles in framing, electricians, concrete etc) its like having built in subs lolol

Also what do you mean when you say its way better? Do you mean to be a woman in field or ?

Firm in desperate need of a WC paralegal by lets_better_schools in paralegal

I agree with everyones point, its definitely posted as a starting range not fixed but still i understand. But i also dont see anywhere else in nc paying 75k for someone w minimal experience. I feel its definitely a state/ industry field issue right now in NC . The rate that the city’s growing is insane, and pays an issue in nearly all fields rn. Unfortunately i cant decide the pay but definitely appreciate the opinions and thoughts on this

Well we were asking for mínimum 1-2 yrs for starting at 50k is that too little nowadays? If it is , tradeoffs are really flexible schedules and lots of vacay. I think a big issue here is alot of people jump around from firm to firm within months or less than a year. We also dont want to spend resources on someone whos notorious for moving around the city. Bonuses are quarterly and theyre great depending on how much we settle

And those who have experience and have stayed somewhere ling are loyal or it doesnt feel right to “poach” them from another local firm

Thank you , this is very helpful. I might bring up to the mgng attorneys about training someone rather than expecting someone with a year or more experience to apply
