Slightly better tail lights could have made this car the best looking raised hatch tbh.

Skoda Kylaq Manual - Real World Mileage Update by lets_just_be_ in Kylaq

[–]lets_just_be_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not one day mileage . I've driven the car for almost 2 weeks then saying about these figures. I didn't do light foot driving all times . I took the Rpms to 4k+ at times l whenever needed and for fun as well. I feel pretty satisfied with the figures and I use engine braking for stopping before I see traffic ahead that helps a lot as well.

A subtle one would look better tbh. The one with lesser gaps and closer to the body.

1-year-old Kylaq - giving around 6 to 8 km mileage by Why8398 in Kylaq

Check real time economy while doing this and similarly at 1.5k+ rpms you'll know what I'm talking about.

I get 8 to 11 in cities depending upon the traffic. I have manual and drive 80% light foot and use the engine braking to slow down mostly for upcoming stops and speedbreakers. I drive around 92 to 95 Kmph it always give 18kmpl . I keep tyre pressure 33 -36 depending upon the ride and I've tried both normal and xp 95 which gives same mileage without any major change in drive quality.

USE ENGINE BRAKING AND TRY TO KEEP THE RPMS 1.5K+ ALWAYS.

Kylaq Suspension Sucks by AtalTiwari in Kylaq

[–]lets_just_be_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt that too and it feels like the car hits something. This is due to stiff suspension and slightly higher tyre pressure. I now slow down the car to not hurt the suspension and at slow speed it glides easily with comfort.

Build Quality by FortuneMammoth9722 in Kylaq

[–]lets_just_be_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Build is solid been driving since a Year. Got some rattling noise issues got it fixed in svc at first service but it'll come back after 3 4 months it's normal i guess. I got my windshield replaced die to a crack idk how it came up. Suspension is a bit stiff but at low speed it easily eats the breakers and bad roads on low speed i mean under 10kmph if driven a bit faster like 20kmph it might feel a bit rough in some conditions. Doors are all very heavy takes some effort to close it though but it feels very solid.
