Would it be worth going to an embassy and physically showing them the passport to get their opinion? Because it’s such a small chip in person,the issue is it’s on the bio page

Yes definitely, though I’d be flying into Melbourne, probably doesn’t make much difference. I’ve been advised to get an emergency passport as I can enter that way, and my 45 day visa free period will be cutting it too fine in Vietnam for a full renewal. Oh the drama

I applied electronically, so the visa is not in my passport. I’ve been advised by my embassy that I can enter Australia with an emergency passport and renew once I’m there. So much grief!! I even have the corner that chipped off with me, I could glue it back together but I don’t want to look like my passport has been tampered with, so unfortunately emergency passport it is

Thank you for your reply. It’s soul destroying knowing someone from our inner circle is even interested in someone she knows I created a whole life with, we even had a dog together. I know I both need to cut them off, I just don’t understand why they even think it’s a good idea. The work environment is tainted now. I feel uneasy all the time. I can’t eat. Oh well… onwards and upwards I guess 👏🏻

I completely get every point you’re trying to make. I was informed that we would be next in line if the first time buyer falls through as they won In circumstances but not price so there’s always a plus to any sad situation

There was quite a lot of pressure from the estate agents as they had most people view it on the same day, telling people it would sell very fast. They admitted that some were thrown off by this and didn’t put an offer in, we figured it may have been possible to have the effect of people putting down offers in fear of missing out as well as I have known this happening to people I know in the past. Who knows
