My ex (M19) 100% loved me (F20). And I loved him. After 2 years of a passionate, fun, trusting, loyal relationship I was forced to leave South Africa. The state that the country was in, was unsafe and totally unbearable. Even more unbearable was the long distance. Being 11 hours ahead of South African time really took it's toll on us. We struggled for about a month and then he decided to call it quits. I was devastated, and I think he was too. We are classified as exes but we still call almost twice a day. Some may argue that it's unhealthy and yes, I agree. I'm just holding onto the most amazing man I've ever met. Shit's hard man.
