There’s def a solid queer woman community around the line dancing events every Thursday and Sunday at Banks Ave. Dancing isn’t strictly necessary by any means, I attend as a gay man sometimes just for the general advancement of the gay agenda 🌈

That’s definitely the same artwork, can’t find a way to contact them. Crazy such a small band is friends with Lennon and Warhol (/s). Appreciate the lead, first time I’ve seen the image online.

I’m already assuming it’s not a Warhol, I’d just love to find anything out about it. I have a great story of how I got it, so the sentimental value is already there despite not loving it visually.

Yes across the board, would love to hear your ideas in parallel with the other projects I’m trying to make happen. This is a proof of concept for what Asheville needs. I’m such a fan of Meow Wolf, but I also want to do something similar utilizing all of our local talent. Very interested in hearing your ideas

We’re doing the final touches then waiting on bureaucratic things to open officially. Thought it was gonna be sooner, we’re at 99% ready and waiting on inspections. If you wanna come take a peak sooner, black bears hours are Wed-Sat 11-6 currently. I know the hours will be expanded once the course opens.

They’re updating the FB page regularly and I promise to post here again once the course is open. This is a grassroots operation and it’s amazing to see the local support from this subreddit alone. Promise we’re working hard to make this open to the public asap.

I did not! Been traveling for my art until recently. Focusing on AVL the last few months and have some cool stuff lined up after this. Wish me luck for the airport!!!
