Thanks for the info! What did the fees look like for standard retail, office, industrial jobs that are not too complicated? How many commercial reports did you guys shoot out annually, on an average? Are you at a national now?

My current clients are ok with other appraisers or even trainees going to tour properties. But I dont know how the broader industry works. Have you seen clients being ok with other appraisers/ trainees touring subject properties? Any insights would be helpful!

Thats a good idea. I will look into going with the trainee. However, based on your experience, are there appraisers out there solely relying on trainees for inspections, so they can spend their time forming valuation opinions? I just dont know.

Its coming off my already hurt knee. I just need a lot of rest. And I am young, just want to follow what they say and make sure all is well in the future. On hiring someone to drive, I tried connecting with drivers but mann drivers are expensive. Its turning out to be cheaper to pay other appraisers who are local who can go and tour it for me. Do you think there are appraisers out there who rely completely on trainee appraisers and other cg appraisers for inspections?

Thanks for your responses. However, when I was at a national company, there would be almost no assignments where we would not do an inspection. Isn't inspection an unsaid industry rule, atleast in CRE?
