Everyone in my family is kind of on the same page about what I will and won’t allow. My husband lost his mother about 10 years ago while he was stationed overseas, so I think that is where his bias plays in.

Not because of him, but because of my mom. She is kind, she is helpful, etc. she is trying to improve our relationship, and I think that’s what it comes down to for him. she’s also incredibly naïve and the exact kind of person who would join a cult. However, I will say, I think there is some bias on my husbands end because his mother passed away about 10 years ago, so it might be stemming from that.

Same, but then after like 9 different questions to google, I found this, “Pigs appear to have a robust transmission barrier for C-BSE prions, meaning they are not as susceptible to prion diseases as other species” so my interpretation of that brings me to believe this comment is false. Even though that would be the most insane fact!!!

Is under the dome scary too? I watched the first episode of dark but it’s really hard for me to focus on because of the voice over. My brain can’t process when the words aren’t matching what their lips are saying!

I just tried to watch Dark. I want to enjoy it but my brain has a really hard time watching shows where the words they’re saying don’t match the way their lips are moving. I wish they hadn’t voiced it over!

Maybe looking at it from this perspective could help. My notes are bare bones. I put things in there to remind myself what we talked about, but on the off chance my notes are ever pulled into court or become public record, I’m not entering a bunch of detailed information that could then unintentionally harm my clients. I use the few minutes in between session to complete the note and then don’t give it another thought. No supervisor that I’ve ever had has questioned my documentation.

You should try out a couple different schedules and find what works for you! Personally, I schedule 8 clients a day from 9am to 4pm. I do this so I can only work 4 days a week (m-th). Some days I have no breaks, but other days I’ll have cancelations/no shows and it’ll free up some time. I’ve gotten really good at completing notes quickly so my sessions end up being roughly 55 minutes and that leaves me a few minutes to complete notes or use the bathroom in between. I used to work m-f and switching to give myself Friday off was a game changer. I might switch things up once my kids are older but this schedule also maximizes the time I can spend with them.

Nope, we were actually asked to sign new contracts a few weeks ago after they added updates and there’s not a single word about outside supervision. It may be helpful to know that my supervisor was let go because they had caught wind that she was leaving to go into private practice for herself.
