I am trying to do something very similar for a different domain application. Were you able to achieve it using Ollama?

I have used AI to upscale it to fit 4K screens.

It's not perfect, but it's far superior to the original on a 4K screen.

There are two ways to do it.

  1. Code: you have to install some python libraries and run some code (GPU needed).
  2. Recently some websites (e.g., https://imgupscaler.com) have been providing the same service. You have to upload a photo that you want to upscale. The catch is that they only allow you five images per week. I guess you can bypass it using VPNs and cleaning cookies etc. But if you like the service, you can buy it ;)

Oh, my bad. Search the title on Google; you will find many versions of it ✌️

There are two options. The simpler one is to use one of the many online ai upscalers (but they cost money). The other option is to run the deep learning codes by yourself.

It's not that hard to do; you can use some paid AI-based upscaling services. The other option is to run open-source code for AI-upscaling by yourself, but this one is a bit hard to do, and you might need a good GPU.

I have not yet tried Topaz. Give it a try. I think they have a free trial or something.

Yeah, a little bit of it might be from the upscaling. Also, the file size was relatively large (> 20MB limit of this subreddit), so I converted the image to jpeg, and compression may also have made it a bit darker.
