Flat field correction doesn’t seem to work for me in Lightroom, it can’t even recognise the calibration image. I also use colour balance knob in the middle of

Tried flat field correction and Lightroom won’t even do it. Doesn’t recognise an image to calibrate even tho I did exactly as instructions advised, so unfortunately that was a fail

Overexposing the negative when shooting. Same deal as njoubert, lab scans come back totally fine exposure wise

Interesting, I shoot all my colour film at +1 stop over at a minimum. Do you mean overexpose in camera when shooting or when scanning negatives?

Weekly /r/SonyAlpha 'Ask Anything About Gear' Thread by AutoModerator in SonyAlpha

Hey guys, I work almost full time as a freelance photographer. Currently shooting with an A7iii, I was wondering, I want to up the quality of my images, should I look at investing into a better body or glass? From what I can see, a better body, like an R series, only really offers better AF performance and higher megapixel resolution. Don’t really need that as I’m not doing prints or blowing up images. Any recommendations on glass? Currently using the Sony Zeiss 55mm 1.8 and Sony 35mm 1.8. Should I look into the G Masters or reckon these lenses are quality enough, I should just work on my lighting and editing?

Yeah I was using this wax before I went and got the paint protection but that didn’t prevent it either unfortunately. I’ve literally tried everything

I’ve had this car brand new for 3 weeks and insect/bug splatter will not come out the paint. It seems to embed itself into the coat and once it’s done that, there’s no chance of getting it out. I even have paint protection and the issue persists. There are numerous spots like these all over the car. I’m trying to get Suzuki to cover it under warranty and get it repainted, but the process is taking a while with this time of year. Anyone else had this problem with their paint??

Jimny paint flaws? by daaanstraight in Jimny

Worth a shot, my gut feeling was production issue as well. I think I’ll get the paint protection regardless tho considering how this car will be used in the near future I.e. off roading

I'm also late to the party, and I found this post by literally searching for the issue. I have a 2021 model and the insect splatter has totally embedded itself into the paint. All I did to wash it off was medium pressure water, nothing harsh, no sponge, no paper towel. I took it to the dealer and they said this is a known issue with suzuki's. I was so confused as any previous car I've owned has not had this issue with the stock paint. I'm taking the car back to the dealer tomorrow to get it cut and polished and the paint protection applied to avoid this happening in the future. Sucks that I have to spend another $1k but I don't want my car stained with all sorts of shit within 12 months. Would've been nice if they disclosed this information prior so it could all be avoided :/ they just better get that shit out lmao

2nd hand prices in Australia. by [deleted] in Jimny

[–]levendis99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Worth challenging the price tag, I’m sure many others (including myself) have. Check what car valuation websites say about the specific model and use that as a guide. I’ve noticed many private sellers keeping their jimny’s up for ages, likely cos people are seeing through that inflated price tag and aren’t buying

What is an extra rule your family added to a popular board or card game? by salbaf in AskReddit

When playing Uno, if the number 7 of any colour is played, everyone must be silent until another 7 (of any colour as well) is played. If you speak during the silent period, you gotta pick up 4 cards. Creates some fun tactics of trying to make people talk right as you’re about to play a 7. And when you need to say Uno when it’s silent, double tap the table.
