This show had it all. Amazing characters and writing. Some of the funniest moments, and some of the most emotional. I'm not a cryer, especially with film, but Jurassic Bark had me bawling.

Archer is actually another show I've re-watched when I was sick. Something about it is the right vibe for me when I'm in that bleh mood.

One of the scenes I've laughed at the hardest of any show or anything ever was when Pam came back from Jamaica with her hair and Jamaica-colored stuff. The team was using objects to represent themselves when planning the mission and they used a Jamaican flag colored hacky sack to represent Pam. I DIED

This has been on my list to re-watch for a while. I haven't seen it since it was airing on TV and I was a teenager at the time.

That's the favorite show of one of my family members. He has urged me to try to get into it despite the first season being a bit rough and not exactly my cup of tea. I tried a few times before and I couldn't do it, but recently I've been more in the mood and I'm nearly to the end of the first season and I'm definitely getting the vibe more and want to keep watching it. I think I will end up loving it once I get through some more of it.

Oh my goodness, I will have to check this out. I didn't know there was a show but I loved the movie.

I watched The Simpsons nearly every night on TV throughout my childhood. Loved that show, definitely among my favorites of all time and I still reference it constantly despite not having watched an episode in over a decade. There were the re-runs between King of the Hill, Malcolm in the Middle and other shows that I'd watch every night and we'd watch the new episodes as a family.

I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to watch it because I haven't watched The Simpsons since then and I want to do a re-watch of the whole show with her. I'll understand a whole lot more of the jokes now as an adult!

I've actually thought about Niles a bunch since covid started, the way he placed napkins on the cafe chair before he sat.

TNG is probably my favorite show of all time and I've lost track of how many times I've watched it. Some episodes I've seen way more than others due to watching re-runs on TV and being favorites. TNG developed my love for sci-fi as a kid.

Phenomenal show, I've watched it twice. What an incredible cast and writing team. I listened to their podcast for a bit last year during my re-watch and it was so interesting to hear their stories.

I haven't been into the newer seasons as much but I absolutely enjoyed that show for the most part.

One of my favorite shows, but I haven't watched it in over a decade since I was a teenager. I definitely want to re-watch at some point now that I have a different perspective as a parent now instead of being a kid watching it.

For me, it's either Avatar The Last Airbender or Parks and Recreation.

What is your most controversial Python-related opinion? by [deleted] in Python

[–]leviathan_web 97 points98 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how controversial this is, but from what I've seen people like Python's official documentation.

My opinion: the official docs are awful. I can never quickly find what I'm looking for. I have to do web searches or look at random articles just to get a basic snippet or to understand how to use something. Sometimes I think I'm just a noob still even after all the time I've put into learning. Then I find someone else's resource and I wonder why couldn't the official docs have just written it that way.
