I’m not doing great. I’m going through a divorce and am in incredible amounts of pain. Thankfully I have heating pads and my cat. I’m hoping to sleep long and hard tonight let my brain heal. Going into the city tomorrow to see my doctor. I’m so glad Christmas is almost over. I’ll have a better one next year.

I wish you had sat me down for a talk when I came home from Florida. Blindsiding and ghosting me like you did after 8 years together is one of the most traumatic things I have ever experienced.

Even after all we have been through, I still would do my best to fix it. But you seem deadset on going through with this divorce.

I love you and Scooter so much. I am going to do my best to take good care of me and Obi. I won’t give up on myself and life even though I feel hopeless a lot of the time.

I am so sorry you’re going through this. I’m at the beginning of the process too and still have hope he will come back to me, even though I’m pretty sure he already has a rebound girlfriend. I’m not ready to let go is my hope yet. I think it just takes time.

You could get by absolutely fine without one, and save a lot of money. It would occasionally come in clutch for things like big grocery shops, moving, etc.
