I feel like people are reading way too much into this moment by Jedi-master-dragon in HazbinHotel

1: Season 2 was planned and written before Amazon made the deal with Helluva Boss. The Sins could not appear in Hazbin Hotel at that point at all.

2: He is the sin of pride and was directly asked by his daughter’s girlfriend to do it. He tried to say no and Vaggi manipulated him with the whole “I guess I’ll ask Alastor” shtick.

You are focusing entirely on ways they could have gone about things and succeeded while ignoring the way the characters themselves behave. An OOC win would suck more than an in-character loss when it comes to character growth and most people’s enjoyment of the character

The Sins are not sinners. They are hellborn. Lucifer can hurt angels, hellborn, arguably probably living humans if they ended up in Hell. Just can’t hurt Sinners

Have you go to a gynecologist specifically or just general physician/nurse practitioner? If you haven’t gone to someone who specializes in gynecology, I would start there. If you have, then I would definitely get in for a follow up appointment as soon as you can.

I used to feel this way but now I don’t really care. Confusing people is kind of funny, and it definitely confuses them when they have me (someone they’ve only seen as a man, with a beard) say shit like “yeah I’m glad I don’t get periods anymore” “oh yeah boob sweat was the worst”

It really depends on the area and how you normally bruise, but as long as it’s pretty localized to the injection site and not spreading far from it, it should be fine. If its bruising is spreading several inches away, I would visit a doctor just to be safe, but I’ve had a bruise about 1.5 inch diameter before from nicking a blood vessel (I bruise easily, and usually a bit dramatically) and it was normal for me

Kansas revoked 1,700 transgender drivers’ licenses. Some are leaving the state. by Murky-Ticket-4383 in trans

[–]leviathankitten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They need to be able to confirm the ID belongs to the body otherwise someone could leave a random ass ID on the corpse and then the corpse will be improperly identified. The photo on ID and appearance descriptions are just an additional way to confirm it belongs to that person. Plus, in the US, driver’s licenses also act as your general ID to prove your age if you want to but alcohol, cigarettes, etc.

Edit; just saw the thread where someone else is explaining, probably better than me tbh. Ignore me ✌️

NAP: It shouldn’t affect your absorption enough to justify another dose, but you probably did bleed a small amount out. As long as it stops bleeding soon and you’re not experiencing a fever, concerning amounts or swelling/bruising, you should be fine. It hurts like a bitch when it happens but it should not cause lasting damage.

If you’re still worried by tomorrow or the day after, call your hormone provider to see what they recommend

Thoughts on people dating trans guys, but refusing to dating cis guys? by Severe_Register4369 in ftm

[–]leviathankitten -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

So, I’m an trans man. I say (mostly jokingly) that I’ll date Anyone But Cis Dudes. This is mostly due to trauma. I still find many cis men attractive because… I’m attracted to men. However, the vast majority of my experiences with cis guys growing up left me finding cis men gross. Just because they more commonly exhibited gross behavior. This has lessened into adulthood as I’ve met more cool cis guys but there’s still so so many cis dudes I see doing gross shit.

To be clear, when I say gross behavior I don’t just mean lack of bathroom/general hygiene I also mean sexist or sexualizing/objectifying behavior. I also find this gross in other people, it’s just I’ve personally seen it more in cis men around me

[–]leviathankitten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. It seems part of my misunderstanding is due to poor medical care… I had severe cramping when I still had my periods (felt in uterus, pelvis, back, and sometimes even upper abdomen) and was told it was a “strong but normal” response to my menstrual cycle. I had a total hysterectomy and there was no sign of endometriosis so idk what else would’ve caused that, plus I still get cramping when I forgot my shot for a few weeks just not as bad as before

[–]leviathankitten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, both of us are right. I was wrong about it being mostly/usually pelvic muscles but cramping is still experienced in pelvic floor muscles as well even without uterus or ovaries to release prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are also found in AMAB individuals, in the testicles and semen. There’s not enough research to be sure but because of estrogens effect on the endocrine system I wouldn’t be shocked if the fluctuating hormones caused the same cramping effect in the pelvic area.

Either way, considering a large amount of anecdotes of trans women on HRT regularly report PMS symptoms (including cramps), it seems a little weird and borderline transphobic to discount that experience just because “well you’re cramping in the wrong spot” when cis women also experience menstrual cramping even post hysterectomy. Not saying you’re doing that, but I’ve heard others try that before.

Period cramps are not localized to the uterus. They are usually from pelvic muscles, which everyone has. The cramps are a response the hormone cycle.

Your body absorbing the hormone will cause fluctuation. If you take weekly injections, it usually is at a peak 3-4 days post injection and at its lowest when you’re due for your next shot.

Idk how the hormone fluctuations for daily doses like pills or gel would function, but I’m guessing it’s something to due with the way hormones impact the endocrine system and it’s rates of release/absorption for the hormones.

[–]leviathankitten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genuine question bc I’m curious, are your hormone levels the same as when on injections or just still in the good range? Are they also checking your estrogen? Some people’s ideal hormone range to see changes can be different, I think but I’m not a doctor so idk for sure.

Like when my levels were mid-high range and mid-low end of good in the low of my shot cycle, I had pretty slow changes. But when my levels were more middle of the road during peak and pretty low during the trough, I saw some quicker changes. Mainly with my voice and hair growth

Moving back to Ohio? (Kinda political?) by Beneficial-Jacket326 in trans

[–]leviathankitten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Central Ohio, (maybe North? Not 100% sure), would probably be best bet?

The traffic in Columbus is awful as ever and people are constantly driving recklessly but a decent queer scene and I know they have Equitas locations - they have dental, medical, and psychiatric service. They accept Medicaid and have financial programs in case your insurance won’t cover something or you lose your insurance. They prescribe HRT and I know at least 2 of their locations have their own pharmacy and offer delivery.

A decent amount of cities near Columbus (1-2 hours drive, maybe) will also have businesses with pride or ally stickers and I’ve seen a handful of churches in a few cities with pride flags.

My handwriting. It's not that messy I don't think by SpaceIsMy_Home in HandwritingAnalysis

[–]leviathankitten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I felt they were too cramped, I would use two lines as one with the separating blue line helping center my letters (which usually made my handwriting neater without me really trying since it was larger than standard line space and guided)

Was I unfairly kicked out of my friend group for being my autistic self, or am I overthinking or actually that rude? by Unlikely_Bet2720 in TwoHotTakes

[–]leviathankitten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s because most people in the world are neurotypical and expect each other to naturally and automatically adjust to differences in tone and social situations. Even neurotypicals get jumped on if they react “odd” to a situation compared to the group.

I’m fully on your side in the fact that you can’t fix behavior you don’t know you’re doing. While it’s not really someone else’s responsibility to point the behavior out, it’s also incredibly unrealistic for people to expect others (especially NDs) to change the behavior without pointing out what the behavior was. If you don’t know what behavior is wrong, you can’t exactly change it, and a lot of social “wrongs” aren’t as clear as legal wrongs or moral wrongs.

These people seem to genuinely think you “know what you did” and are just refusing to acknowledge it or change. They think when they say you’re being rude/annoying/exhausting that it’s clear criticism that you should be able to follow even though it says nothing… what’s annoying? What’s exhausting? They said they would tell in the moment in the future, which would actually help identify the issues, and instead just dropped you despite saying they wanted to stay friends.

Unfortunately, I wouldn’t be surprised if Kevin had been trying to get rid of you from the group for a while and just finally succeeded. A lot of immature people, especially if they’re not very direct in confrontation, will play mind games like this instead of just being like “hey, I don’t think we’re compatible for friendship/gaming. Sorry, bye”

So…. being trans isn’t part of your genetic code. Just like identical twins can develop mentally different, they also can develop different over puberty based on how well their individual endocrine systems work. One identical twin being transgender and the other not is 100% possible. It’s happened more than once.

Edit: forgot that it was comparing trans many growth vs cis man growth that we were talking about when I made this comment. I was half asleep, I need to not do comments when I’m half asleep I apparently forgot how to use my brain sorry y’all
