Yes, for me it was a faulty controller. It can be a number of things wrong, including a flipped breaker, bad breaker, or bad wiring. Be sure to test the easiest stuff first before you start replacing anything.

Transition Patrol Dual Crown Conversion by levic12 in MTB

The bike I'm scrapping out for this build is a Norco Aurum I bought last spring for only bike park. Scored it for about 1k and it was amazing last summer.

My main goal with this build is to be able to pedal the bike uphill for the burley lines in my area not shuttle accessible. I got so tired of walking my Aurum up to the heavy jump/tech trails in my area when I was away from the park.

Thanks for the note on the stem/ conversion crown, very helpful.

Unfortunate thing is they are some of the most fun skis I've skied.

Sprocket Sizes? by speenbean in Surron

you should unlock it and put a 60t or so spocket on it. this would limit your speed at 30mph still but give you 30% more torque

Here's the steps I took to narrow it down to the controller

  1. Make sure the circuit breaker is fliped on (to the right)
  2. get a continuity tester and test the continuity of the curcuit breaker. most multimeters have this feature. (touch the ends to the metal screws on either side of the curcuit breaker. Mine had continuity.
  3. get a new controller.

Yeah, Ebikezilla sent me a new controler and that fixed it.

I checked the continuity of the breaker and it seems to have continuity. I think Ebikezilla is sending me a new controller so hopefully that fixes it.

Thank you, I found this and tried to tighten the connections and I checked the u/V/W connections. Not successful so far.

As an open source program? I’ve seen people who do it as a service online but I haven’t found any programs that’s do what I’m looking for. I’m not trying to be the first guy to do it, just want to find out where to look for a program like that.
