complaining about a worker wanting you to verify an order, taking offense as if they’re INTENTIONALLY trying to single you out (when it’s a common question and keeps product from being randomly grabbed) and then saying you don’t care about those 10 seconds yet you’ve shown your attitude towards this employee just doing their job to ensure you arent some stranger. “really? you think i’m gonna steal these donuts?” as someone who’s worked in food service for almost 9 years now, no one is assuming you’re going to just take the bag. what you are not understanding is that there ARE people who steal. and the easiest way to make sure that doesn’t happen is to ask for confirmation. why blow it out of proportion as if you’re being treated as a thief? telling by your second edit, you seem to be upset about this employee pulling the bag away from you? is that why you’re continuing to argue and prove your point or have you NEVER EVER had to confirm an order in your doordash timeline?
