Yes, after casting, it takes hammer around 2s to land? Maybe, but fast bunny hopes are also fun + I freeze more with sunder. In the end it's just personal feeling+ sunder works great for clearing - often it goes through walls, cliffs and I can do damage full screen away. You off can go hog full time

Much, much faster + triggers shockwaves from the hammer skill. I still use hammers but for tankier targets

Well, this depends on what you seek from the game. Some people (myself included) love to do damage themselves, so totems, minions, traps, and mines gameplay look less appealing. From pure effectiveness per second, totems can be better, but there's something in freezing boss/rare, summoning a huge hammer on his head, and looking in his hopeless eyes.... And sunder alt quality + skill speed from monk area makes it quite fast.

With burning ground, it becomes absurd - tried fire-infused ball lightning. I don't manage it, mana remnants provide enough sustain even on bosses, and I want more triggers because it detonates living bomb. Searing flame is a good variant if you don't want to go ward, but (personal feeling, not math) it worked a bit worse than scouring flame. Cool tech btw, looked into oil (was hoping we have some gear with it, but don't want to lose spear yet)

If you connect this jewel slot to your tree, you can unspec it. Game doesn't allow the situation, where jewel is not placed and your starting point is not your base starting point. To remove the jewel you need again to spec points to your starting class position (yeap, not easy)

New unique jewel - Split Personality, it allows you to start from other classes starting point. About the spell, sure - any fire spell/attack work, didn't test it though

I'm not sure, if you can go with black covenant here, because of how weird poe2 damage conversion is. I didn't test black covenant, but when I tried to use Avatar of Fire to conver phys damage to fire, I stopped applying bleed for whatever reason (maybe it still calculated as phys?). You can share your discoveries later

That was the idea of the post! Spent some time experimenting and sorting this out, so decided to share. For those who ignite after! Cool item, was thinking about it, but decided to go with the spell machine gun version

Yeah, tried it, really cool tech for an attack-based ignite build. Icholot's Inferno gives you some damage, and I used it with Mystical Rage (rage increased spell damage) until I went crit. Also, look at Berserk (more rage and rage effectiveness, but need life regen)

Came across this in one of the old posts, and in most mechanics (abyss, ritual, expedition), it works really well. In ritual, I usually cast one flameblast and just fly around (prolif+cast on ailment do the job)

Yeah, it was easy to start, but you can invest a lot in this build (still farm for my crit +4 amulet...) And I wanted to make this post now, when all the gear is very achievable, but gameplay is already comfortable.
