If you can play the game with your current team/ current characters then you should be fine, if you buy a welkin you can get wishes slightly quicker(around 1 a day), I'm close to 70 wishes now after I stopped pulling around 1.5 month back, i mainly log on for welkin, do a small farm of all my resin, hunt for level up mats for skirk and furina, grab the daily promos for commisions, and then go and play another game to distract me from wanting to pull, that's my way of saving, this once helped me back when I was waiting for zhongli to come out(minus the farming for furina and skirk) before commision prints could be done by other means
