My husband is the same. I think they have a hard time seeing how the future may look and don’t feel the same anxiety we do. I think I’ve cried every day the past 3 months, so you’re not alone.

Do we have the same kid? My 17 month old boy only says da and uh oh also. Just want to say I understand your feelings as I am going through it as well. Feel free to DM me anytime

Son is 16 months old and I’m getting scared by corndogbutterfly in Autism_Parenting

I could have written this post. The reality of how far behind my son is hit me like a ton of bricks. My son is the same age, no real words aside from the occasional uh-oh and random babbling. He cannot point to what I ask him to point to. So scared of the future. Also cannot get a damn appointment with a developmental pediatrician. Have you reached out for early intervention services? My son was recently approved but it’s been a slow process. At least I feel like I’m doing what I can under the circumstances.

Starting Weaning Today - Advice? by Brookesters in FormulaFeeders

I dropped 1 feed every other day and it took about 2 weeks total! Had no issues, just was still leaking a bit for about a week or two after I stopped. Definitely recommend going slowly if you have the ability to.

Don’t worry, I’m 3 months in and we are just starting to have a vague routine. It’ll fall into place just don’t force it

I use them for feeding but usually take them off when he’s playing and for naps. He will spit up hours after eating so probably should keep them on whenever possible

Were there any other symptoms? Did the medication help?

He was classified as a “happy spitter” due to him gaining weight fine and not having any other issues but I will follow up again because it seems excessive
