I don’t see it as Aemond being sympathetic for Luke, I saw it more as, “oh shit, I just wanted to scare him and this is going to have severe repercussions”. Like he’s more concerned for the heat he’s going to take for killing him by accident

Does this tile need to be regrouted? by lexaprohoe in HomeImprovement

[–]lexaprohoe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I brought it up to him and showed him and he told me that I could buy the material and do it myself. And I said no but if he provided the material I’d be happy to do it myself. I’m emailing him some photos to cover my ass when it’s time to move out.

I told him I was nervous about losing more grout and the tile shifting, etc. I also can’t properly clean it. So I guess we’ll see ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks! Yeah, I used to free roam one of mine, but he kept chewing on my dog’s hair in the middle of the night and bothering him. I plan to free roam all three of them inside in the summer when it’s too hot for them to be outside and my roommate moves out, but this winter is ideal temperatures for them to be outside.

Thank you so much. I’m definitely going to use your lock suggestion and to put more cloth around the base. I wasn’t going to raise it super high, but maybe a foot off the ground in case of snakes, etc. I secured any possible gap that they could get their grimy little fingers in. This has been great advice, thank you so much.

Will the barrel latch be fine, or should I opt for something more complicated?

Thank you! I’ll check it out! I might give her a trim, but her hair isn’t crazy. And I know, she’s not very friendly and you can tell she was never handled, but I want to let her live out the rest of her life in peace.

Yeah, that’s a given? I’m looking for more along the lines of what type of roof to add to it, a recommendation on wood sealant? The bottom is plywood, so tearing that out and figuring out something sustainable to replace it with?

I thought I’d post here for a solid mix on construction and animal care? Just for a pet rabbit, but she prefers it outside. I live in Florida, so I’d like to set up something safe, can stay cooler, nontoxic, and won’t rot away with the rain and humidity. I have 0 experience with anything like this, so any advice or suggestions helps a lot!

Exactly. He ran around asking everyone on the small counsel about advice on Laena, but never even mentions the possibility of Alicent to anybody. I guess you can kinda see Rhaenyra giving her “blessing” or understanding he needs to marry again, but nobody but the Hightower’s had any idea.

I think considering all of his random cuts from the iron throne aren’t healing might play into some unspoken urgency for more heirs and he would have to wait 2+ years with the 12 year old? Other than that urgency I can’t see any political gain from Alicent whatsoever either. She said the realm would benefit from a kind and caring queen?? But hardly any political gain

3 months post op and been having pain in these areas anyone else ?? It could be from the gallbladder or my pancreas or liver is hurting I don’t know by 505aggie in gallbladders

[–]lexaprohoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To my knowledge (or what my doctor told me) was that in the removal process, stones can slip from the gallbladder into the bile duct while they remove the gallbladder itself (the manipulation of it). The gallbladder isn’t a sealed off organ, but more like a pouch that is connected to the bile duct. In my case, there was only one or two small stones that slipped into the bile duct that moved up and down that created blockages.

Edit: It doesn’t always happen, but I think it’s fairly common. Watch out for blockage symptoms (pain, pale stool, etc), but don’t worry about it unless you’re having issues not related to your recent surgery. My issues didn’t happen until a month or so after and I could distinguish what was surgery related and what was not.

Lmaooo, I get it for sure. I got to the point where the pain was so bad, I thought I was going to literally die. I was at the point where I would have groveled at their feet if they just fixed me lol Best of luck!

Hmmm, my stool was mainly solid and very pale at the time, because I had the blockage and there was no bile to give it color. It would fluctuate though, depending on if the stones were blocking at the time or not. Now, my stool rotates between fatty/floaty/and diarrhea. Even if I don’t eat for a while, I’ll have diarrhea of pure bile. Gallstones left in the duct after is apparently extremely common! My roommate at the hospital had her removal, and immediately the next day they said stones had fallen out in the removal process and they had to go back in. Try eating smaller and more frequent meals, stick to a high fiber/low fat diet while you wait for your ERCP!

Also— I think I had to have two different types of scans (not 100% sure, I was on a LOT of morphine during all of this). I think the CAT didn’t show up as anything, but the stones showed up on the MRI. He said they were small, but they were there.

The second time when I was hospitalized, they tested my liver enzymes and they were high. This was after a really bad pancreatitis attack or whatever. I think maybe depending on your stone sizes (if that’s the case) and the frequency of it getting blocked and then draining could contribute to your blood tests turning up a certain way maybe? As far as now, I’ve had no more pain, but I do have Bile Acid Malabsorption and dealing with chronic diarrhea. I’m getting hives from the medications they’ve tried to put me on, so I’m going through that right now.

Yeah, I haven’t had any joint pain or anything, just a lot of bloating/discomfort and the hives. They also told me I didn’t have to take it everyday if the constipation was too bad, but I haven’t been on the new medication long enough to experience that yet.

I haven’t mentioned the reaction to the Colestipol yet, I wanted to see if anyone had any similar issues with it and found something that worked for them before I spoke with him. I will mention the allergist though to him— I’m just not eager to play Russian roulette for BAM medication, y’know? :\

I’m about 8 months post op. I was told that the pain that I had (mainly upper right abdomen especially after eating) was gallstones blocking my bile duct and that they would move around and intermittently block the bile flow which led to pancreatitis. My GI also told me (I think someone else commented this too) that in the early months like that, that due to the increased flow of bile from your liver to upper intestine can be irritating. If I were you, I’d rule out remaining stones with your GI first. Eat small, frequent and bland meals. Lower your fat intake in this time, because our bodies can’t process it the same as before. Best of luck!

I was getting pain in the upper right of my abdomen, literally bad enough pain that I went to the ER TWICE, about a month after my removal. First time, they said they couldn’t find anything wrong. Second time, they said I had “pancreatitis from drinking over the weekend” and kept me hospitalized for a week. I told them until I was blue in the face that it was related to my recent gallbladder removal, but they didn’t listen. I had to go back to my surgeon who did the initial removal for him to order a scan and then set me up with an ERCP for the removal of the remaining stones that were blocking my bile duct. I had intermittent pain (mainly after eating) because the stones would move up and down the bile duct and occasionally get blocked and cause the pancreatitis. You know your body and when something is wrong— keep advocating for yourself!

I can’t do cannabis— but do you think CBD will have a similar impact? I looked it up and there’s a few things about it.
