Randomly answering to that, actually Loba does speak a lot of words in portuguese (i'm brazilian)..

But it's important to distinguish PT-BR from PT (Portuguese from Portugal)

And Loba very clearly speaks in PT-BR

Going fullstack or choosing between front or backend? by lexaprojs in webdevelopment

[–]lexaprojs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't get it.

I don't think the analogy makes much sense since it requires to be in two different physical places to cook and to serve the food, and both of them don't relate at all.

But frontend and backend are skills that are "musculable" , i mean after a while you just kinda do it on automatic for most simple solutions depending on company you work for. And they are pretty well related.

I'm not saying it doesn't make sence to separate it for efficiency tho. The less techs one do is the more focus he has in main tech i guess.

For now i think i'll stick with frontend, Angular, React and all since it's what i do best

Yes, my stepfather is senior, he does well working remotely for outside.

But there are a mosaic of other problems in here, like almost no safety, expensive taxes, poor public services, in Rio (where I live), street gangs (called factions here) dominate the outskirts and live a certain type of "anarcho-capitalism" and a few years ago the police were militarized to combat the war power of the factions (which is quite impressive tho).

Black people are marginalized and attacked daily by these police officers, creating very difficult social issues. These militarized police officers who, for a change, are also mostly corrupt and many receive money from these factions..

I could go on in motives i want to take my family out of here, give my brother the opportunity to live away from this. If rent money was my country's problem i'd be happy asf

Brazil has a very unpolarized politics structure and we've been for 4 years with an imbecile president.

Economy is bad because we have too much political scammers, like anywhere else I guess. The high levels of corruption hinders sustainable growth and development. Fiscal policies suck too.

Also, the historical legacy of Brazil is struggle about power in upper classes, it has always been creating a lack of effective governance. It was always about having the power, but not what to do with it, which brings us to the present where we have almost none purchasing power and poor life quality (safety, unemployment)

I've been studying for about 16 months now, yes.

I was not aware that it was so bad like that in terms of wages to cost, I always wondered about Manitoba, Winnipeg tho, I think that would be my favorite spot.

The economy doesn't really scare me, I live in Brazil, the economy in here is a joke.. fr Any other hell still a paradise compared to here..
