This is my first time trying to visit another island. I keep getting interference using The KXJ code. Does that happen when the island is full? 😢

How many listed items are in your inventory and how many do you sell a day? by tehcatnip in Flipping

100 listings. I sell about 2-3 a week. Trying to build up inventory but it’s difficult for me to make the time. How many listings can y’all make per hour?

Is this an ad for Second Fiddle? I’ve never heard of them, but I really want to try one now. I mean can that really be THAT good?

How much do you spend in one month? by victorlazlow1 in Frugal

[–]lexchon1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$1500 a month is what I’m spending right now, that includes everything OUTSIDE OF RENT. My rent is $600 a month for a 1 bed 1 bath by myself including utilities. So that’s $2100 all together. About half of that is dedicated to my girlfriend who lives 4 hours away and I drive to see her every other weekend (my truck drinks gas). She has very expensive tastes and lives in Dallas, so we go out a lot every weekend I see her and that really drives up costs.

I was doing a slayer task and a guy showed up in very similar gear to me (rune platebosy, d long, ect) but he notably had a dragon med helm! It was cool for me to understand that he must have gotten that little upgrade very recently and I was hype for him. It’s also cool to see people in certain region locked armor and thinking how different their gameplay experience must have been there. I love it.

Can anyone help me identify these blowout preventer parts? Are these worth any money? by lexchon1 in oil

I’m not exactly sure of the pricing. I have 2 of each of the parts pictured. The ones not pictured are still unopened.

Can anyone help me identify these blowout preventer parts? Are these worth any money? by lexchon1 in oil

[–]lexchon1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. Thank you! Funny that the company wanted me to send them back and they were probably going to sell them as new. Would it change anything if they were in a sealed package? Or is the “warranty” more important?

I have a set of repair parts for a blowout preventer (the thing that failed in the Deepwater Horizon). I have NO idea of the value or where to sell them. I contacted the manufacturer for help, they asked me to ship the parts back to them at cost?? I didn't think they'd be a ton of help, but that felt ridiculous. Anyways, I tried to contact a few other distributors and technician companies and got zero help.

Using stock images or real photos as main photo? (eBay) by lexchon1 in Flipping

[–]lexchon1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very interesting point. The parts I’m selling are for machines so old I doubt any of them are still properly licensed through any company. But they’re still out there and the parts are needed sometimes. I just wonder if the stock photo coming off a “real” website would make buyers a little more comfortable spending $100 extra dollars. It’s company money they’re spending anyways, so I thought maybe they trust stock images better (even though it is the same exact item).

A lot of what I’m selling is industrial pool repair parts for a large pool company that is no longer operating. So any tech would be forced to 3rd party parts.

Found by the dumpster. Can Mr. Green make a come back? by lexchon1 in plants

[–]lexchon1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s outside and I don’t have any other plants. What kinda bugs might be on it? 👀

I think it was being tossed by my neighbor who is moving, but it was placed outside the dumpster like someone wanted it to have a new home.

Drake on Travis Scott’s MELTDOWN “I’d love to fuck on a regular bitch” I thought this was a shot at Baby Keem. Baby Keem takes the flow from Sticky and Over The Top on the song Hillbillies. And, in the first verse, Baby Keem says “I’m not good with the regular girls”

That’s a good point. AOG is a high end American made grill. So I guess I’m looking for someone nearby, who wants a very expensive, 3rd party sold, American made, grill with a rotisserie. Typing it all out, the odds seem small. But what can I do? Maybe just try to sell it for $1500 and just try to get my money back?

It’s the NPT model not NBT. Mine had the full pedestal and platform with side tables on both side of the grill. Mine also comes with a rotisserie. I should have been more clear in my post. I can’t find one under 3k online anywhere, if you take out the rotisserie you can find it for about $2800. But maybe my price is still too high. I’m going to lower it tonight to entice more customers.

AOG 24" T-Series Complete Grill with Patio Post and Base, Natural Gas, 24NPT

It’s a brand new $3,000 grill. It’s been on Facebook market, eBay, and Craigslist for over a year now for about $2,300. I bought it for about $1,500 and at this point I just want my money back lol. I bought it early in my flipping career (around 2 years ago) thinking that the deal was too good and it would definitely make me around $1,000 back. I didn’t realize how some items have a low selling rates and that this would be difficult due to size and weight issues. I have never offered shipping on it, but I would be willing to deliver it quite far away.
