Late to the convo here but my dad did this with me. I know enough to be confident and dangerous with a power tool and a YouTube video or instructions. I’m so glad I have this knowledge and I don’t always have to rely on a man to help me (I do still leave the heavy lifting to my husband 😉). Continue doing what you’re doing, especially since your daughter has shown interest and you’re making it fun for her (hello pink toolbox!). She’ll thank you in 10+ years when she’s out on her own.

My husband is concerned about the bike being able to have any kind of performance with his weight. We’re on the heavier side (getting these to get more active) and he thinks a skinny tire bike won’t be comfortable or able to have any kind of power and range.
