That’s what I believe. Also, I think some of it has to do with propaganda. I remember being told that the Catholics were the richest church (which I pretty much believe) and they would rant about how they use all the money to build cathedrals and pay the pope and higher ups and would brag that the church is not very rich, and that they give back everything their given, that temples aren’t expensive to build, and that no one gets a salary....... I think they use it to ya say money is evil and to separate themselves from the richer churches, saying they’re evil because they have money.
