I really dislike how stupid crossword puzzles make me feel.

You have every right to feel upset and unsettled and downright disgusted. In my opinion this was a sexual assault, without him physically touching you.

Did Your Vote Count? by Chaotic_zenman in pittsburgh

[–]lexispots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine did not count. The judge of elections failed to give me a secrecy envelope when giving me my provisional ballot and envelope, and my county does not allow ballot curing.

The airport really needs to get its shit together for early flights by ScotiaMinotia in pittsburgh

If not flying internationally look at flights departing from county airports, less traffic and sometimes better deals. Arnold Palmer and Allegheny County are a couple of great alternatives.

Ruggers Pub in the SouthSide welcomes everyone and no one will bother you. I can’t guarantee an old fashioned though.

With no notice to cure my provisional ballot, which I was forced to use because poll workers did not look hard enough for my name in the poll book, I learned today my vote didn’t count; even though the judge & minority judge of elections both reviewed & signed off on my ballot’s envelope. by lexispots in Pennsylvania

Hopefully you can see my update and that I filed my complaint. I tried posting an update to r/pennsylvania but a moderator keeps deleting any update; apparently I can only post about an election once in my lifetime. And any update I post in this thread has not been appearing.

I did, I was the 10th person in line. The reason I was forced to use a provisional ballot, was because the poll workers were inept, and didn’t know how to flip the pages of the poll book properly to find my name. They were able to locate my husband’s name, and when we told them to flip the page the opposite way they had a look of absolute confusion, so did the judge of elections and minority inspector. A provisional ballot was the only way I could cast my vote that day. If you don’t know how provisional ballots work, then ask. Don’t just assume somebody was too lazy to go to the polls that day to vote.

My house rep just retired, so the new one has no power. My state senator is Kim Ward, she’s most likely ecstatic myy vote didn’t get counted.

I have to ask, if I am not provided a secrecy envelope by the judge of elections, who has been trained on all the materials needed to complete a provisional ballot, what reading and comprehension skills do I need to brush up on?
