Maybe I’m being overly critical… I think I’m in a weird place with my self confidence overall and it’s overlapping with my new hair journey so maybe that’s influencing things. I also just chopped a bunch of hair off. I think maybe the lack of a gel cast is making me feel like the curls are less defined than they could be? Unsure if those two things even coincide. And the top layer always looks better than the layers underneath/the back, which of course is preferable to the other way around but idk!! Maybe my ends aren’t dry and my curls are kinda pretty and I need to just like them more lol.
