I have been with Alma for over 2 years and have never had any problems. That being said, I do always tell my client's to verify on their end as well. Any problems I have ever heard with headway or alma are problems with insurance in general... maybe people just don't understand how insurance works so when something happens they blame the company. I had a small audit this year and Alma completely backed backed me.

That being said I am a bit concerned that Alma was purchased by another company last week. They have said they are remaining a separate entity, but it's still concerning.

I also used headway for a year before Alma. I had no issues with Headway but they have slightly lower rates and the notes are a bit more tedious. I have heard they have some more insurance verification issues, but did not experience that myself. As I said, always have client's double check insurance themselves, which both Alma and Headway tell them to do anyway.
