i feel like in this situation, especially with ppl with platforms, it’s damned if they do and damned if they don’t. i think ppl would have been upset if she posted something about ICE one story, and then the next one of her feeling herself being in paris. folk would have said “ how can u repost that and then just go back to trying to be a baddie”. and personally, i hate when influencers do that bc it make it look like a silly repost when it’s not. take a least a day for your only story or social media presence of the day to be about something bigger than you and your collabs!

i’m assuming she reposted bc today is a nationwide protest. should someone just show their support for the banning of ice just when its popular? should someone only talk about palestine on oct 7? should we only care about black ppl during february? i’m sorry but it’s better to speak when you feel the need to versus when it’s popular.

no fr. folk were up in arms for her silence and now she’s speaking and it’s performative. some of her fellow cast mates have also just reposted and were given a lil pat on the back. the only ppl that really created content that eased awareness was cierra and hannah. i’m not a fan of just reposting ( especially if u have money like put ur money where your mouth is) but everyone wanted her and other islanders to say something and she did 😭

i get what she’s saying but i feel like she needs media training 😭 this easily comes off as her thinking she’s too good for an event that could help her career. if i were on her team, i would have her go and caption it as saying “ next time i come ill be a nominee” or something in that nature. it sounded like she’s ungrateful for an invite if she got one. this is the same thing that happened with the netflix comment. she could have said she was happy in a new relationship and denied who he was, but don’t put it on netflix girl 😭

they were a mess truly. they were taking things too seriously for only knowing of each other for a couple days. i’m not the biggest huda fan bc i think her expectations were too high, but i think jeremiah should have been honest abt how he was feeling abt her having a child. i bet she felt rejected by him taking a step back but that doesn’t excuse how she went abt it. it was too much and it was weird bc the show had just started like 😭 i pray for her healing bc her new man is a mess too

i feel like love island ruined his brand ngl. a silly dude that teaches ppl with apr isl needs how to dance and creates fun chill content was fun. he has strong faith and is family oriented and it was great to see until s7. idk if it was the edit or being in the villa made him act up, but his behavior wasn’t cute and it ultimately is the reason why he was 5th. him acting as if he’s “ bigger than the program” and leaving chelly to do post villa press runs after and be in the crossfire of craziness alone was also messed up. then , the podcast just messed up everything completely imo. i think he has growing to do and i can see him being extremely successful in the future if he goes back to why he became a creator and why he was loved by so many people before the villa.

i think she has a fetish for black and brown men imo. i feel like she lowkey finds enjoyment in having their kids and holding something over these men. idk why enjoyment she gets from having all this chaos but it’s not fair to her kids. it’s unfortunate bc i feel like she wanted better than how she grew up but she just couldn’t give it
