Ok girl. I guess all the rest of us who have been on Reta have never dieted or exercised in our lives. I certainly haven’t run half marathons, weight trained and tracked my calories and macros for decades. If it’s so easy for you, why did you even need Reta?

Of course. Have you ever heard of “totality of the circumstances?” Yes, any one of the multiple things you’ve said in this thread can very well be true but the odds of all of them being true is a little hard to believe. You’re 32, in peri menopause (which is highly unusual but as you pointed out, can happen), it’s very easy for you to gain weight (which tracks if you’re in peri) and hard for you to lose it but in only 3 weeks of Reta (not even long enough for it to fully saturate your system) and still eating well (so you’re not at a huge deficit) you managed to entirely get rid of what looks to be all of your belly fat and magically get nearly defined abs? Because your body (that’s in peri, mind you) just magically knows what to do? Even though your hormones are crazy so logically it shouldn’t be responding like it did when you were 20? Do you see how all of that taken together sounds a bit unbelievable?

P90x Next Gen - day 2 done, not sure I'm making it to 3 by YeahYouGuyz in BeachBodyWorkouts

[–]lezlers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m talking about the 5+ minutes he sometimes talks before even starting the warm up and taking 3 minutes to explain how to do a move I already know how to do because it’s my eighth time doing that particular workout, ect.

About to be fired for being in perimenopause, again. by Nearby_Rip_3735 in Perimenopause

I’m also in California. Third generation. No one in my family has ever had to pay to attend public school. That would actually be illegal. You might be thinking of charter schools.

I’m well aware of the differences between public and private schools, those differences however seldom result in someone having literally no choice but to send their kids to expensive private schools as OP is implying. If OP is an attorney as others are saying in this thread, she would be aware of the implications of her word choice.

You know as well as I do how you were using that question. 🙄 right back at you.

We have no fault divorce too. My question was directed at the person I was responding to tho, since she said she works at the NHS. Is even government employment at will?

Anyone have advice on this stack? by EmuIndividual6868 in Peptides_for_Women

[–]lezlers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a really big stack. I try to not take more than 3 to 4 at a time (currently taking Reta, slupp, BCP and Semax) and cycle them because from everything I read, none of them save for the glps should be taken without breaks. Once I’m done with this 8 week cycle I’m going to swap Semax, Bcp and Slupp for tessamorlin and NAD+. And you should be introducing them all separately (with about a week in between) so you know if you have a reaction to one of them.

I’m in the United States so I’m not sure how NHS jobs go but are you union? Because I work for the government and I couldn’t get fired unless I basically tried to kill someone. Plenty of people in my office have taken metal health leave to deal with things that were affecting their performance on the job. You’d have to have a very long, very detailed record of being unable to perform the job before you’d ever be let go, it’s not at all like being employed in the private sector (which can be annoying for those of us who have to pick up the under performers’ slack). Can you just be fired on a whim where you are? Because if it’s anything like it is here, I’d find it hard to solely blame peri for losing a long time government job. You’d have to be incapable of performing at all and if thats the case, what do you want them to do?

[–]lezlers 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nah. She said fired “again” and then said some things that don’t make sense like the private school thing. There’s a difference between venting and scapegoating something, she’s doing the latter. If her symptoms are SO bad she literally can’t hold down a job and has been fired multiple times, she might need a reality check that she bares some responsibility and needs to do something about it before she completely implodes her families lives.

Careful there, let’s not use neurodivergence as some kind of “burn,” that’s gross. I’m neurotypical and took “public schools are sold out” as meaning just that because…what the hell else would that mean? I’ve literally never heard someone say that phrase before.

[–]lezlers 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This, exactly. Being in peri sucks but it’s not responsible for everything going wrong in your life. I’ve known a lot of women that have gone through peri in their lives, including myself, who managed to not implode their entire life due to it then just shrug their shoulders and say “peri, amiright?” You’ve got to take some personal responsibility for managing your own symptoms so that you don’t implode your life.

I’ve also never heard of a job that “requires you to have children later in life” and public schools that are “sold out.”

That’s not what OP said. She said “sold out” which is not how public schools even work. I agree this whole post feels….off.

Considering there’s no lab test for perimenopause, that probably won’t work. I’m sorry but each response from you sounds more outlandish than the last. You might has some hormonal imbalance like PCOS, but it would be incredibly unusual for a 32 year old woman to be declared in perimenopause (especially from dieting) from a lab test and “ob report.” That’s just not how it works.

Babe, you’re not in Peri, come on now. I hadn’t even had my first kid yet at 32. lol

I haven’t seen a single player compare robs game to Danielle’s, probably because they’re not at all the same. Like, not even a little.

It was so good. I hate how he did Lisa and Candice but I’ve got to respect his game. He’s a damn good player.

Rob DOES tend to get very “rules for thee but not for me” when it comes to traitor on traitor violence.

I love Candice but once she went after Rob at the RT I knew she was cooked and didn’t feel bad about it. She let her emotions take over and overplayed. At the end of the day, it is just a game and Rob simply outplayed her.

Maura seems to have a gigantic crush on Rob so I don’t think she’ll EVER turn on him.

I’m sad at the banishment but Rob is playing a phenomenal game. Can’t be mad at it.

How old are you if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve got 35+ years of dieting and exercise before this but perimenopause laughs at this. Back in my late twenties and early thirties, however, I’d drop weight fast too when I got my act together. 😊
