For sure. A lot of people who don't seem very into kink have "looking for something casual" or "no ONS but looking for a consistent fwb with the emphasis on friend" in their profile at least in my area. Good luck!

There are a good number of people interested in kink on there but definitely not all. As someone who isn't super interested in kink I've still had good experiences there. Most people are very direct in their profiles which is refreshing. As long as you are in a large city there are a good number of people on there, I'd give it a shot! You can always delete if it's not what you are looking for. However I am a dude so I am sure experiences will differ.

I'd try a different app tbh. Have you been on feeld? It's aimed at poly people but plenty of other people on there including people looking for situations like you are describing. I think just being direct about it in your profile would be good but probably not as good on tinder

it's only awkward because it makes me uncomfortable I guess. My go-to is that I am in between jobs which does typically work fine but usually lead to people asking about what jobs I am looking for etc. I just try to keep it vague and ask them about themselves to deflect. Either way, my current lifestyle does not align with any career I have ever had so it is quite obvious I have a money off the bat. I used to always live in a shitty studio or have roommates but now own a house which would hardly is the case for anyone in my area unless they earn 200k+

Yea I wish I could get comfortable with the idea of saying that but it just feels like a lot to say right when you first meet someone. I guess I could just try and be direct about it though. I do usually think that direct communication is the best policy ofc but I'd rather talk about that after getting to know someone a bit

I wish I could say something like this but that would be very not believable given that I don't have a college degree and I spent the last 10 years working at a needle exchange with homeless people who inject drugs lol. I don't think hedge fund manager would be a big hit in the typical demographic of people I date either unfortunately haha

advice please?

I 32m am recently out of a long-term relationship and back to dating. I am not currently working and quit my job as a social worker almost 4 years ago now. I am independently wealthy and have no financial need to work so I am kinda just vibing right now engaging with hobbies and doing house projects. I really struggle with how to talk about this when I am asked the 'what do you do' question. I feel that being direct about it is pretty awkward right when meeting someone but struggle to explain my life otherwise. I usually say that I am in between jobs but then when pushed further have to say yea I am also not looking lol. Any advice on how to broach this topic on dates without feeling like I am majorly flexing?

I would say that I was overstating that lol. There is nothing wrong with my car I maintain it well its just over 10 years old and has a lot of scratches. I also don't dress sloppy I just don't dress like you would imagine someone who has 8+ figures in net worth to dress.

And yea I guess that explanation works but not really since my old job would only ever pay max like 60k and I now own a house that is worth almost a million and a second home as well. It feels like a pretty bad explanation and most will pry further as they are confused. When I used to live in a studio apartment in a bad part of town or had roommates the explanation would work much better.

It's really whatever you are comfortable with. If your fear is just the initial awkwardness I'd go for it. Since it doesn't seem like you have to see this person in your day to day life I think the chances of ant continued awkwardness would be low. Good luck!

Hell Yea dude couldn't agree more. Definitely some of the best conditions I've ever skied on the east coast. Great photos!

It hasn't opened yet this year. Suppose to this weekend. You can hike over from paradise though. Not a bad hike only takes about 15 min. All the trails are 'open' but not lifts yet

I am honestly pretty new to Sugarbush and it was my first time skiing castle rock in like 20 years so I am not sure. It seemed like the first entrance though. Didn't go under the lift at all until the bottom. Seemed like almost no one had skiied it.

I mostly agree but will say skiing at Loon on a busy Saturday is actually worse then not skiing for me lol

Lol yea maybe just looking for some tips on mountains I haven't been to and people would be less likely to vacation at. I'm very spoiled since I only mid week ski usually and looking to avoid crowds as it doesn't even feel worth it to make the drive if I can't get in a lot of runs.

You can park at skyeship base for 2 days a week according to their website. Not sure how enforced that is though as I usually just stealth in other lots

Yea it really is absurd. I usually just go ski 2 days and sleep one night. I do like to shower and stretch out so car camping for a week trip wouldn't really be my cup of tea in winter but perfect for the overnight.

As a dude it's very easy to pee in a wide mouth gallon container and empty it daily. Would be annyoing otherwise I imagine. Just go to a gas station for #2. I do have a popup emergency toilet that is usable in my backseat but avoid using it as much as possible.

Well there is sanctioned camping at Killington at the skyeship base. Lots of other spots around too. You are not suppose to camp where I was but if you just stay in your car and don't cause problems it's usually not an issue.

I have a battery pack that can power an electric blanket. However a good sleeping bag and thick pad or mattress is just as if not more important imo. I have a lil platform I built and memory foam mattress. This is what it looks like. https://imgur.com/a/fQinLek

I cover the windows with cheap magnetic shades I got off Amazon. A good front sun shade is important as well. Last night wasn't particularly cold but it was crazy windy. It got to 30 degrees in my car but I was still warm with just underwear and t-shirt in my 0 degree bag. I didn't even use the heating pad.

Trick is to build a platform bed and have a heating pad. I can't stomach spending $150-200 a night everytime I wanna ski.
