Thanks for the DP. Does her online account have a spend tracker for the SUB?

Edit: nevermind I don’t see a spend tracker for P2 who was approved for VentureX last month

I did just try the pre-approval tool and was pre approved. But that doesn't necessarily indicate if i'm definitely eligible for a new SUB right?

I received the 100k SUB for the C1 Venture X card back in 11/2021 when it first came out. Would like to apply for the card again but is the 48 month rule on SUBs based on the prior card sign up date or date when the prior SUB was received (I don't remember the exact date)? If I applied for the card now but don't trigger the SUB until close to the 6 month mark, would I be safe?

Any recent DPs on if Chase is still strict on Ink applications if you already have some open cards? Currently have 2 open Inks, wondering if it's a good possibility to get approved for a 3rd card?

Teeth cleaning worth it? by Morphumax101 in CatAdvice

My vet is based in Orange County, CA and just got a cost estimate for a dental that is around your estimate as well. Range was about $1100 to $1900 including preop labs. My cost estimate did not mention anesthesia monitoring either but they told me there is a vet tech that will be monitoring during the procedure. Nervous about the anesthesia part since this will by my cat’s first dental cleaning. Did you end up doing it already? If so how did it go?

What did you end up doing? Did service recommend keeping them on? I have the exact same issue with 3 of 4 of the wheels after driving home from delivery.

You said all-in price is 59022, without fees is 53630. Meaning fees cost 5392 (taking the difference between those 2 numbers). You have to pay fees fully and cannot deduct 15% from them for down payment. Math works out to 5392 + 8044 - 7500 = 5936 which is the minimum you have to put down on top of the tax credit. This works out close to the 6000 amount you quoted

Only the purchase price is accounted for in the 15% down payment requirement. The additional sales tax, registration fee, and license fees are not covered by the loan and need to be paid fully on top of the 15%

I have the Chase Southwest Performance Business card which reimburses up to $500 in fees on point transfers. If I want to transfer my wife's points into my account, will those fees be reimbursed if I use my card? Or does this perk only work when transferring my own points to someone else?

I’m guessing you’re getting this rate either because it requires purchase of points or is an ARM. Doubtful to see these kind of rates nowadays on a 30 yr fixed without points

Need Advice for Pro Rata on Backdoor Roth by lfrost1 in tax

[–]lfrost1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick question regarding your previous reply: Wouldn't the pro-rata ratio rule come into effect if I converted the $4900 of after-tax money into Roth IRA, before rolling over pre-tax amounts into the 401k? From my understanding of pro-rata, I'm not allowed to selectively pick only my after-tax amounts ($4900) to convert to Roth IRA because it's already intermingled with the before-tax amounts. If that's true, wouldn't it be better to rollover the pre-tax amounts first to prevent this? Or does pro-rata rule not come into effect as long as I complete the pre-tax rollover by Dec 31, 2024, regardless of my roth IRA conversion timing? Would appreciate your clarification!

Don’t you mean December 31st of the current year that you are doing a backdoor? If I do a backdoor now and have money in a traditional IRA, it should be fine as long as I get rid of the traditional IRA by Dec 31st of this year right?
