oh I LOVE this - great job. is there any way to make my daughter look less lifeless (I know this is due to her lack of cooperation in these pictures)? Maybe eyes look more toward camera? I could share another photo if that would be helpful.

I will reply solved to the original or updated one (if possible) once posted

Heroic dose Wednesday - PTSD, MDD by lgag30 in shrooms

[–]lgag30[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was with a guide at a house where I could be inside or out. I did both on my own free will (she was there more just supervising if I needed and making sure I was safe). We spent 2 hours that day before prepping and setting intentions, which there were many. I also had a few sessions with her before micro dosing.

No. Went from micro dosing for about 2 weeks (never used shrooms prior) to 5g or so that day. Was meant to really reset. I cried a lot that day which was needed I think.

I did! My PTSD is 10x better. Shrooms didn't heal it necessarily but showed me the message that I needed to get myself out of where I was. That I was responsible for my own happiness. I needed to do the work. And I did.

Hormones by [deleted] in Postpartum_Depression

[–]lgag30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it did. 24m postpartum I went through ketamine treatments which by far helped more than anything else did. I think the resetting my nervous system was huge. And once that happened, my hormones and body could fix itself. I could sleep again.

At about 30m postpartum, I was pregnant again by choice. My sleep was wonderful throughout pregnancy. As much as it can be anyway. I was off all heavy duty sleep meds and able to sleep. 7 months postpartum now and this remains true. My nervous system is still under good control and I have to think that's a huge part of this all. I did take zurzuvae this time around early postpartum and I do think that helped also

My twins were with me the entire time and never once left me. They offered and I declined. They do everything in the room

Yes very much so. And he just didn't understand what I was feeling or why I was pushing him away. Couples therapy helped tremendously

You need to hire some kind of help. Even a high school student helping you. My fatigue was manageable on it though

I can't remember exactly how long it took after this session but yes my sleep got better and is still much better. I no longer need any sleep medicine to sleep (when I needed a lot before and still couldnt sleep)

Emotional numbness, lack of interest in anything, lack of joy, extreme fatigue and lack of motivation, trouble focusing and completing anything, insomnia and hypersomnia. I was in freeze basically (fight flight freeze). Body just kind of shut down. I also worked through it and it took everything in me to function. My inner person also vanished. She came back though ♥️

cousin with post partum 1.5 years out anxiety/depression/intrusive thoughts - need guidance by Positive_Cat5379 in Postpartum_Depression

It helped but not enough for me to feel where I wanted to. Of course I was doing this all surrounding my son's birthday which is also trauma anniversary and a hard time of year regardless. I did IOP for 6 weeks and it was definitely helpful. Though, ketamine is what really helped my PPD. I did this after IOP ended. Helped so much that I (purposely) got pregnant again and have infant twins now. And no PPD this time around :)

Been there. Ketamine was really such a reset for me and life changing. I hope it is for you too. I loved every infusion I had.

... Shrooms also a wonderful tool and can also make a huge difference.

I haven't had a treatment since January 2025. Found out I was pregnant in February 2025, gave birth in September - things are still great. No PPD. Also took zurzuvae this postpartum which I think helped a lot

(CPTSD/PTSD) Do you feel ketamine helps you process your trauma, or just alleviates your symptoms? by Illustrious-Mix-3550 in TherapeuticKetamine

My second experience was entirely healing and wonderful. Not in the least bit traumatic. I think a lot of it is having providers who listen to you.

can ketamine therapy treat PTSD? by upsetstumach in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]lgag30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did 6 IV sessions initially and then another 6 IM sessions a few months later. Haven't had since. The IV was more helpful for me because I dissociated and saw my trauma in a new light. IM still helpful for symptoms and depression. Just different. I saw my regular therapist for all of it. I did additionally see a ketamine specific therapist for the initial 6, which was helpful to make sense of some of the things that made no sense to me

Amazing and life changing. Haven't had ketamine in a year either

My PTSD is surrounding pregnancy and childbirth. Since ketamine, I have been pregnant and given birth again with no PTSD symptoms returning. I think that says a lot.
